Come on folks...isn't one misunderstanding a day enough?
I don't have a problem with the S/J shippers posting their invite (that's what I saw it as) here any more than I have with AD posting a link to the Sam/Vala thread (however, it isn't about the two of them being all "slashy" - well it wasn't in the beginning anyway.)
What happened to If you don't like it, DON'T read it? I really don't appreciate people telling me what I should and shouldn't read. I'm a big girl and can make that choice for myself, thank you.
Otherwise I'm gonna have to go HappyBunny on some folks...

I prefer to be called Sunny, Sun or SK. Thanks.
And to continue with the topic of earliter today...IIRC, AT picked that dress out herself.
which, IMHO, just goes to show what a good job she's done playing sam over the years.
Sam's taste is not Amanda's taste. Not to say that one is more 'right' or 'wrong' than another.
We, personally, have our own limits of what is deemed 'right' and 'proper'
I personally, i know that the 'muffin top' look is in...but i was raised to NOT have my tummy hanging out, especially when there's as much tummy as i have. I know that the 'tramp stamp' (a tattoo on the lower back, just above the butt) is hot, and to wear low rise pants to show it off is hot...but hades will freeze before i ever get one.
We each personally have our own levels and definition of appropriate, and we can view a character's actions and attire with our own eyes..but it's not really fair to impose our personal preferences upon someone else.
Just because i will not wear baby doll tops, have my tummy hanging out or wear my jammies to the store, doesn't mean that it's wrong...it just means that i choose not to partake in that fashion

I'm with you Sky. As for the BRA incident on SGA- I was at the con in Vancouver last year when Amanda told the story of that. It was a bra and I believe she mentioned that the costumer lined it so nothing would show since the water wasn't all that warm. I could be wrong. I saw nothing wrong with it or with Vala's matching bra or panties as they were not that revealing (and heck, if I had either Amanda or Claudia's body...I'd be showing it off. ) and in character for that moment. BUT since I've never been a fan of "Dasiy Dukes" I was not impressed by that choice, but realize it was a VALA choice. I tend to at choices like that and move on.
