Sam Carter/Amanda Tapping Discussion/Appreciation

Hey everyone, is there an initiation rite for newbies on this thread? Maybe I should offer up my favorite Sam episode for starters. There are a lot of great ones, but I think I'm going with "Point of View". That was the first one where she played the "dual role" and she did it so nicely that you really did believe that there were two totally different Sam Carters in the two AU's. Other good ones in this category are "Gemini" and "Moebius" but I still thing POV is the best of those. Another favorite Sam episode is "Small Victories", because she comes up with an incredibly daring plan on her own and convinces the Supreme Commander of the Asgard to go along with it. Now that is some serious brass, if you know what I mean.

Welcome OriKiller! The only initiation rite I came across involved a strong stomach for blue jello shots.

Yes, welcome, and I think there was a list of "rules" somewhere. No crazy initiations though. If you think Sam is a great character and Amanda is pretty terrific too then you are in the right spot.
