Here's a photo of Don Davis at DragonCon 2006.
What a gentleman, and gentle man, he is!

I'm watching season two and am at "1969." There are a string of great episodes near the end of this season and Hammond shines in all of them. Science Fiction can have a tendency to get surreal and even silly. Hammond adds a layer of authenicity and weight that perfectly sets up the other actors. He's the consistent adult who can and does say no, sets boundaries, worries about his people and perfectly represents his country's interests.
Like much of the original team, he's irreplacable.

*sighs* As do many of us.

(mild spoilers for Road Not Taken below)
Spoiler:I really enjoyed seeing Hammond again in this episode. You could tell that when many around him were perfectly fine with the negative changes in American society, he tried to hold on to what he believed was right. I hope we see him again before the end.

There was a con with Carmen Argenziano and Don S Davis last week in Melbourne.
Here's the official banner for the event:
chelle db posted a 5-part con report on S/J Ship Family Thread. And while I'm not comfortable quoting her without her permission I guess that posting links to her con report posts would be O.K.
