Well if I were you, it's not the age I would be offended about... It's the actual word "Ma'am"...

Sugar, there some men on the planet inclined to call ALL gals ma'am and IMHO they should be allowed simply because of the way it affects certain female hormones! Being called "ma'am" is a compliment in the Deep South. It's means a guy is brought up well enough to be polite. RDA saying "ma'am" now that's REAL nice, but the one guy on the planet who can absolutely FLOOR me doing it, is John Dye. He smiles and the salutation "Yes Ma'am!" takes on a whole new meaning for me. I'm convinced I'd practically promise the universe my future first born son if I could just get him in a certain place at the RIGHT time saying THAT...

Yup, he'd the only man on the planet who can make me forget any other man on it even exists, even RDA...

Don't know why, he's not half as pretty as RDA, but he sure does.....

I agree, there is "something" about being called ma'am by a good-looking gentleman with a southern accent. Usually, I hate being called ma'am, but that is the one exception, oh and RDA can call me anything he likes
