Hope you all had a good day, we are all stuffed and sitting in front of the fire drinking port and watching 'Bliackadder' on the TV.
Well, most of us are asleep, but I am quietly blogging (on a borrowed lappy) and posting here ('cos I loves ya).

I too have escaped up to my room and the old computer.....Hubs and M-i-l are watching Casino Royale, son is watching Scrubs and we are stuffed with turkey, duck and all the trimmings and just had a few chinese nibbles hot from the freezer, via the oven.....tomorrow it's off to sis-in-law's for the Annual Boxing Day family gathering and a rest for me.....I sit back and let someone else do all the work as reward for mine today.....


Now I'm going to stretch out on the sofa with my lovely shiny E Book Reader and immerse myself in some good J/D sap....

Happy Boxing Day!
Had fab xmas, too much to eat and drink and oodles of goodies, including jewellery (which will surprise no one who knows me, a new jewellery box to put them in, a hand bag, an Art Nouveau vase, a yard of Jaffa Cakes (yes, really), a fabulous historical cookery book (including recipes for Pork Cheese and Scottish Fish Custard, yum), belly dancing bangles, cherries in kirsch, very silly purple fingerless gloves, a very tasteful throw for my bed in a subtle blue/purple. The dvd of The Golden Compass, Enya's new CD. Some hand cream and soap from Pringle and Fairweather, my favourite cosmetic company. Hand made things, including a tree decoration and a bookmark.
Some lovely stuff, I feel spoilt.

Hope everyone else was as lucky and that those of you having a less than ideal time, I hope the New Year brings better fortune.

I'm home alone now too, got home about 1pm. Quiet afternoon and tomorrow, guests on Sunday and going on holiday to Portmeirion for a week's holiday on Monday.
Computer is still poorly, so I may go away at any time. But it's not because I don't love you and the boys.

Sure Sam will be back from her brother's and Teal'c back from Chulak, so after their quiet Xmas yesterday, Jack and Daniel will have their family back with them today.
