You know what I think is ironic? The fact that some people would blatently deny this pairing of ever existing, when here all along, Daniel and Jack have something similar. Since the movie and into the series, confirmed by MS, Jack and Danny have had some sort of homosexual attraction to each other.
Although I will forever hold the Daniel/Vala pairing above all others (including Jack/Sam), this pairing of Sam/Vala does intrique me. I mean, think about it, they're not as different as you'd expect:
-strong-willed
-both taken as a host for something of the similar species
-have some sense of loyalty (though Vala's is mostly to herself and Daniel)
-intelligent
-beautiful
-independent
-sexy when the time calls for it (Vala's more assertive than Sam though)
-good with firearms
-kick Goa'uld butt
-both like Daniel in some form or another
-Need someone strong to lean on sometimes (
)
-can figure ways out of a really sticky situation
-would lay their lives down on the line when the situation calls for it
I mean, look at all those! That's a lot of similarities!
