Indeed it is!....and it's Mother's Day on Sunday......wonder if I'll get a nice Archeologist as a present?.......Sadly I rather think it will be bath stuff or chocolates as usual.....oh well I'll just have to post one here instead.....
The Illustrated Field Guide to Whumping Archaeologists
Introduction:
Welcome! The purpose of this guide is to help you
enjoy the sport of Archaeologist Whumping. You will
learn to identify whumpable archaeologist, as well
as locate, capture, and restrain said archaeologist
for a proper whumping. This is a time honored sport,
not for the feint of heart. But with fervor and dedi-
cation, any hussy can whump successfully.
Well, I WAS going to go hop in the shower, but maybe I'll stick around for the field guide...
@Foxie: carved butter and fried foods on a stick? So you missed the lutefisk booth and the cow tipping competition, huh...ja, it's hard to see everything you want at the fair...
Weather wise, I too am in the PNW, tho a bit further inland and it's been sunny, warm and dry here too. There's definitely a drought here in the upper Snake River Plain. But if it stays dry it might mean I won't get soaked on my vacation in Oregon in May...
Hmmm...haven't been to the dentist lately, but I can attest that so far looking for a house has felt an awful lot like a root canal sans novocaine...

Said archaeologist may be in any form of dress,
(usually khaki) ranging from military garb, to
leather jacket, to suits and other civvies, although
they can be most commonly identified by their choice
of headgear.
