Now the Thor/ Heimdall theory goes like this. In Norse Myth Thor is the son of Odin and Jord. Heimdall is the son of Odin and Frigg. Now Norse was an oral tradition culture and it could have been that Thor and Heimdall were really good friends and 'like brothers' became half brothers. For a thousand years the Asgard haven't really had genders so it doesn't really matter but I theorize when tthey have genders agin Heimdall will choose female. (Afterall it is voiced by Teryl Rothery).

This all came from a fic idea that would have the Daniel/Janet and Thor/Heimdall pairings and some virtual reality naughtieness.=)

As I recall, Heimdall was bodied by Teryl, but I think the voice was changed. Still, I cannot see Heimdall w/o thinking of how hard it was for the actors involved to keep a straight face while they had Asgard eyes on her cleavage (hey, it was the right height, and I think DeLuise was the director which explains soooo much!!). Teryl is such a sport!

At any rate, LOVE the pic to go with your explanation. It is really bad, Maeve, when Daniel passes out from attention to detail!!!!
