I just wanted to pop in and say how much I've enjoyed browsing through this thunk thread. I'm going to a convention next weekend that Michael will be a guest at, and I'll be happy to post the pictures I take.

) Usually leave for work about the same time, 10-15 minute commute to campus, made much more fun by twisty roads and my sports sedan. Get down into the Pit of Despair (aka my cubicle in the windowless basement of the building), turn on my work computer, check my e-mail, and click on the link in my subscription to the thread. Thunk as much as possible as current project will allow. Leave as soon as current project will allow. (I like to be home before the gatelet gets home from school. He's ten and does okay on his own, but I still feel better if he's not ) Multitask at home by doing homework w/gatelet, chatting with Ang (and other guilty parties--you KNOW who you are ) on messenger, and thunking. Continue with this until hubby gets home from work and says "Are you STILL on the computer?" Then make dinner and attempt to be a normal middle-class American family for the rest of the evening.

mother in law has arrived, large "gatelet" is home from school fortunately without red-sprayed hair 
It's "Red Nose Day" (Comic Relief) over here and many of the kids are allowed to go "non-uniform" to school to raise money for it. So I shall only be popping in here whenever I can get a break away from being "hostess" for the rest of the day
