I'd love a copy of the field guide too, signed or unsigned, wobbles lip. But I suspect this would start a landslide (and I can't offer anything in return - apart from wood!).
Three days to the chicken????
It's from Reckoning pt 2, where Sam and Jacob/Selmak are translating the big wall the weapon is hidden behind. And now it's two days to the chicken!
snurched from jackslashdaniel and oops, it's another beanie, sorry about that jilly! But it's worth it for the cute look. And speaking of chicken, I think lunch is done.
Don't worry about it, I'd rather look at him in a boonie than not at all.
Course I'd rather look at him in nothing at all than a boonie... *wanders away, whistling innocently*
While I'm making this printable, I s'pose I should ask...
Just how many hussies want copies of TIGWA?
I just slipped in to the thread to post the low res version of your book cover design.
I got inspired and finished it yesterday but was unable to go online until now.
Not to be a wet blanket or anything , but don't they charge for autographs
at a con, or set a limit on the number? Not that I wouldn't mind a signed copy of
your TIGWA, especially if you ended up printing out copies using my cover
(and I'd be willing to pay the going rate myself), but I don't want to burden anyone
with extra expenses or incur any kind of problems for them at a con.
Anyway, I have a much high res (printing quality) version that I will
post a link to later on today. Must pop out the door for the afternoon,
but will be back online tonight.

OMG!! ROFLMAO!!!!
That is TOO perfect!
Having never been to a con, I have no idea if/what they charge. I agree though, as nice as it would be to have a copy signed, I'd hate to have expenses incurred.

OMG!! ROTFLMAO! That is great!! Wonderful cover for the new book!! Can you imagine MS's expression when he gets a look at that!?!?!?!? That would make it worth running up the credit card to get to the con!!

Tears of laughter, it's perfect!
Don't worry about getting them signed (apart from the one for yourself) that's our problem.
And Seshat, just watching One false step so I now know were your sig line comes from.
Now I *have* to go in bath, speak to you all later.

ROFLMAO! That is AWESOME! Although I'm not sure I have the cajones to have MS sign it!
I got extra autographs for other people at the Chicago con. Yes, it costs about $30 for each extra one I believe. *contemplates the look on MS's face when he sees the Guide*......

WOW that is simply fantastic Seshat!....my goodness what a talented group of hussies you all are....
I also agree about the cost of getting them signed.....I've also never been to anything remotely connected to a convention but having seen the costs for some of them and for things at them I was a bit shocked!...
Just to be able to print out that fabulous front page and the guide to read at leisure will suit me....It's simply marvellous....I've actually been going back and re-reading it today.....cheered me up no end as this afternoon I got a bit weepy as it's over 7 years since I lost my mum and even with my son's pressies I soon realised how much I miss her on this day.....so this has helped me greatly....Thank you!...

DD x
Well, I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed it. (So sorry about your mum, DD!! ) I was afraid everyone was just going to think I was nuts!!
Nuts wirthless? Nuts? We are all a little nutty here, it just adds to the flavor.
So one of my cats (I won't name names *coughONIcough* ate a ribbon at some point in the last few days and released most of it last night. Unfortunately it got somewhere along the way, I won't bore you with all the gross details, but it included a late night to the vet hospital. Kitty is fine today, if a little snarky, but needless to say I am a little tired today.
Now it's off to a full day of fun in the sun but before I go, wirthless I need a copy of that so I can have it signed at the con. If I can also dredge up some extra fundage maybe I can get it signed for a few of my favorite hussies. Depends on the cost, I have no idea because I have never been to a con!
And to keep this on topic...
Ugh....

I sympathize. Happened to one of my dogs with a container of dental floss. (His teeth are remarkably clean, but he had to have abdominal surgery...again...)
Bad Dog!
I'll try to get The Guide printed off sometime in the next week or so.
