Wow what a great story, Space Monkey! I can relate...I'm usually a pretty shy person and I had no idea how I'd handle meeting Michael (let alone any celebrity) at the first con I went to. I was actually shaking after I met him (luckily he didn't see me - lol). It's great that you got a hug from him though. Thanks so much for sharing!

Well I had signed up to volunteer for one day at TD, and since there ended up being nothing for me to do that day I ended up helping out at the booth selling photo's for signing in the dealers room....

Thanks for sharing your story Leah, I'm sure I would have acted in a very similar way I'm the extrovert in most social situations but if it comes to meeting someone I admire etc coherent sentences are not my friend I'm glad you were able to speak to him and get a hug too! <- is not jealous, honest!

Grrrrrr!.......not happy..... Just found out I missed Michael's appearance on CSI Miami over here in the UK whilst I was away.....I waited bloody ages for that, always checking and somehow I missed the info on it and never even got to set the DVD to record it.....*stamps feet*....

i so hate it when that happens, i had a similiar experience, i was waiting for the second ep of andromeda that ms was in, and the stupid tv channell took the series out of the program just before the episode could be aired, geez was i mad! waited half a year for the ep and then just before i could see it they stopped showing it!! (saw it meanwhile because i ordered the dvd online)
