A fruitcake. That's what the woman was. A fruitcake, a nutcase, a complete loon. She'd zatted him, knocked him out, and tied him to a chair. Of course, Daniel had been grateful to find out that the super soldier that found him “attractive” was actually a woman. That relief, however, was short-lived.
He had been captured by a mad woman… Or was it two? He was almost certain he’d seen another woman wandering around. She hadn’t interacted with the fruitcake; she just seemed to watch them with a smile that was on some level disturbing to Daniel. Still, he wasn’t afraid of her or wary of her like he was of his captor.
He wasn’t sure of the existence of the second woman. He had lost his glasses, and his vision could have been playing tricks on him. It wouldn’t have been impossible for him to be hallucinating her. He probably had a concussion, despite the fruitcake’s use of the healing device.
He needed a zat. He needed to retake the Prometheus and get back to its stranded crew. How he was going to do that he didn’t know. Maybe he could get the other woman to help him, get her to give him the much needed zat…
He was alone, though. Neither of them was here, and he didn’t know what he was going to do. Daniel flexed his arms, pulling at his bonds. He had to get out of here. He looked up to see the mysterious woman, who smiled briefly, and disappeared.
Daniel frowned. He didn’t have long to worry about her, though. The other one was back…
