I've noticed most people in repliess quote the link instead of the image itself. Is there protocol for this or is it just individual preference?Yes, there is a protocol. It's primarily to help those poor souls on dialup. You should only have links in your quoted replies and the picture size should be no bigger than 700x400??? (There's more detail in the forum FAQs.)

To clarify this as I had problems with it when I first got here:

If when you hit Quote you see the picture appear in the reply box, to get rid of it, right click, select Properties and then copy the information in the Location area in the box. That'll give you the link to the photo. Then just paste that in place of the image and all is well!

Option two is where if you see [img]IMAGE LOCATION[/img] when you hit reply, just remove the [img] tags and leave the image location in its place.

Hmmm well I guess that this would be a celebration if your a Protestant. What do the Catholics think about all this celebration over burning one of their own religion. It does bring up some very interesting questions. I'll have to check out those links, thanks muchly Foxy.

Well, since the original event happened 400 YEARS ago, I imagine they've gotten over it by now. (I'm an atheist, but that doesn't stop me from handing out and gladly accepting Christmas presents...)
