We were all so scandalised by Michael's beard in Summru that we christened it 'The Gerbil'.
There is a school of thought that it looks suspiciously like a small rodent hitching a ride on his chin.

The "gerbil" is what we call the thing sitting on Michael's chin in the movie Sumuru. Well, he started calling it that and we just latched on to it. The movie was a joint Canadian/German/South African venture. It's pretty bad. Total "B" movie. But it's soooooooooo good in its cheesiness.

The movie has never been released in the US and probably never will. You may be able to find copies on ebay if you really, really want to see it.
