That's does sound like a lot of fun. I've never been to a convention before. Now it's just a matter of finding the money. How soon should tickets be bought? Is everyone going all three days?

For the most part people do go all three days. If you can't, Friday is usually the day to miss. They tend to have the "bigger" stars (i.e. Chris and Michael) on the weekend. But they haven't posted the schedule yet so who know what will happen. I say, the sooner you can get the tickets the better. The room is HUGE and you don't want to be stuck too far back (unless you have a telephoto lens on your camera or something ). But it honestly is a really great time. In addition to getting to see the lovely Stargate people in person, you also get to meet us! Hehe. And other lovely fans. Some of whom are a bit crazier than others. But we are all unique in our own way. There was this one girl last year who just LOVED Apophis. And Peter Williams is going to be there this year. Can't wait to see if she shows up again. Tee Hee.

Yeah, what's with our PNW weather of late - wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago it was in the 80's and 90's here?? Sheesh, and now we're having downpours! I guess it is still technically spring, after all, but a little more sunshine would be nice. I just have to remember that all this rain is why our landscape is green instead of dry and brown.

When I was in Oregon it was BEAUTIFUL! 60s-70s every day on the coast, 80s in Bend...it's 45 degrees and really blustery in Eastern Idaho today. Yuk. I'm pretty sure it's June and not March, Weather Gods...

Well, it is easy to picture since Vancouver is "part" of the PNW. (which gets me to thinking.... since Vacouver is in the Canadian SW and we are in the NW.. it can become very confusing.)
