Agh! I missed much today whilst slaving away in my nice air conditioned mall.

At least I seem to have missed most of the GW downtime, being as I was whiling away the hours behind a cash register...though on a happier note it seems my boss is bending to my will and will allow me to take the last weekend off for the Chicago Con.

So, I had my very first thunking injury today. I was making part of my dinner to take to my part time job (mushroom soup rice) and waiting for the soup to boil, so I came to check the thread, as all good hussies should. So, while in here, the soup boils over. Not good. It's not burned and I am able to salvage that, but the oven burner protector thingy is now coated with burnt cream of mushroom soup. Not so yummy. So, I wait for it to cool down enough and remove the burner (we have an electric stove) so I can get to the protector thingy underneath. I grab a towel just in case, and sadly, the burner is not cool enough and I burn my finger. I now have a loverly blister on my right index finger which make typing and writing rather difficult at the moment. *sigh* I need some Danny to make me feel better. Oh! This will work!
