Since I'm reading Michaels tweets (and a lot of other tweets relevant to him) anyway, I decided yesterday to join twitter.
No one i know in person is on twitter i'll just talk to myself but maybe i meet some of you there. Don't worry, i don't speak some weird kind of french and no *kisses* just a weird mix of german-english.

According to Saving Hope Official's Twitter today is the Last Day of Filming for Saving Hope...Benjamin Ayres, Michaels good friend and co-star (and rather ace photographer) will be "taking over" the Official Twitter and posting some "behind the scenes" pictures with a bit of luck...

Michael has very kindly allowed us to glimpse into his High School days with this wonderful Twitter exchange with Kamloops High, which is the subject of a "fly on the wall" Reality TV programme (based on the UK programme "Educating Yorkshire") on Canadian tv...he posted this pic, along with a series of tweets of his 1980's drama group's production of "Witness for the Prosecution"....front and centre, of course, with two girls touching him....nothing changes eh?

When i first learned about it, i was sad but thought, at least we have 5 seasons. But now reading all these tweets about the last day of shooting and all the other stuff.....makes me feel

It was the same when Stargate SG1 ended....the scenes from the final day's filming on the ramp in the Gateroom were heart-rending....all the cast were in tears and hugging...after 10 years or 5 years it makes no difference....firm bonds are formed and friendships last...but the cast and crew have to go on to their future paths...whether that be straight to work, to rest, in front or behind the cameras, let's hope they all get what they want...

Final filming finished last night...Benjamin Ayres took some great but teasing photos...I'm NOT going to speculate but I have my hopes, fears and ideas



What's next for Michael? Who knows?..but thanks for 5 seasons of stellar work, great acting and bringing yet another Doctor into my life...he's pretty darn good at that eh?....

And this summer has probably been the best time for him filming in Toronto as for many of the weeks he's had his wonderful daughter Tatiana by his side, learning her craft and taking her first tentative steps forward into her chosen career of film-making.....may she learn from the best and be as successful and as dedicated as her father...

To all the Saving Hope Crew - thank you and I can't wait to see what joys - and agonies - you have for us in your final season ...

Great news for the Shanks Family....Lexa cast as Talia al Ghul in the CW's "Arrow"...she will appear in episode 10 of Season 5 for her first appearance...


Doig’s first appearance as Talia will be in the tenth episode of Season 5.

I have done some screencaps from the Saving Hope Tribute Video by Benjamin Ayres...


They are up on photobucket, which is such a pain in the mikta to use and the caps are NOT in order .....sorry but I gave up on the 4th attempt to get them to make some sort of sense..start at the end and work backwards...

Bit blurry but I did them quickly this am and the video is on fast time lapse speed anyway..

I think there will be LOTS of Tweeting a la Family Shanks now that a) Lexa has got the part in "Arrow", b) now that Michael is probably headed home & is 100% behind her supporting and promoting and c) Tatiana Shanks has her own Twitter account ....I won't be bringing them all here but follow all three and you will more than likely get some GREAT family interactions..
