Well I'm keeping away from the furore on the internet from some of the fans too.....complete hysteria and madness and yet one more thing that has turned me away from that particular side of fandom....I wouldn't get involved in the SH fandom if you paid me now....it's teenage romanticism gone mad (and in some women who are old enough to know better imho)....ok, we all had a bit of fun when the Senior Hussies were around but never once did they go OTT in their adoration as some I've seen around on Twitter and Tumblir and certainly would NEVER involve the actor in knowing what our thoughts about him and/or his character were in some senses....*shudders*.....
I'm sticking to DJ, J/D and Stargate....hate to say it but when "shipping" and romance becomes the main part of a plotline all good sense and in some cases decency goes out the window...
Now I'm off to appreciate some Michael in his younger days.......ah...S.2 of SG-1 on Sky TV again.....the days of the big baby blues and floppy hair...I know some Hussies that would go crazy over them.....and probably start up the Boonie v Bandana v No Headgear wars again!!....ah...happy memories of a time when gentle but clever humour ruled this thread....
