At the very least I'm going to get an 8G flash drive with my birthday money. I want to get an external hard drive, but then I'll need a usb 2.0 card for this piece 'o poo. It's just that if I get the 8G stick, I can no longer download some certain [PG-13] videos. I should be waiting for the dvds anyway...

hm as far as the eps pics are concerned, think about it: 80 pics = 5-7 mb. 200x7mb = 1,400 mb = 1.37 gb

Heh, yes well, my Sam folder is currently at 66.3 megs and Amanda over all is at 118 megs. I have a total of 319MB in pictures. It's the Sanctuary webisodes and four SG1 episodes (free from Amazon) which are killing me right now.

get them to disc and off your HD?

you could get an external HD, even if you only have usb 1. it'll jsut take a while to transfer the files is all

Mmm, yes, I just wasn't sure as some devices nowadays require you to have usb 2.0. I think I'll look around for a good deal on a ~100G one, since I'd probably spend half of the same amount on just a 8G flash drive.

usb 1 and usb 2 should be mutually compatible in most cases. I've not heard of anything that is non-functional on usb1. slow as molasses? yes.

and yeah, for the 60ish you'd spend on a 8 gig pen drive you could get a 100+ gig external HD for about 20-30 more.

check online, i have good luck at office supply stores for good sales on electronics
