the pictures 'are' like that first, but... i really don't understand why this happens with 'some' pictures. but i think the ones that do have this one thing in common: i 'think' they all have the letters 'PDVD' in their titles. not sure if that means anything...Originally posted by Jumper_One View Postyou can also save them as a jpeg

PDVD means that its a screen captured by Cyberlink PowerDVD.
I know when I save images to my Picture Folder (using XP), they're copied as thumb nails. I either opened the images with Paint Shop or change the viewing in my picture folder from thumbnails to filmstrip. I will see the image at its original size with the remaining pictures as thumbnails underneath
