Ok, I know I'm nuts...for the longest time I couldn't place who Claudia reminded me of...but recently I was given DVDs of Cold Feet (LOVED that show!) and it finally hit me while watching it. Claudia reminds me of Fay Ripley!

Claudia Black had a recurring guest role for a six episode arc in S9, playing the former G'oauld host Vala. Vala first appeared in the S8 ep 'Prometheus Unbound'.
She's made quite an impression on the SG1 crew and cast, though, so she might come back. That is, of course, if it fits Claudia's work schedule.
