Personally I don't think Martouf spent enough time with Sam to grow to love her for her. Loving someone for who they truly are takes time, especially with that kind of baggage. He would've also had to have taken the time to get past Jolinar.

I think he believed he loved Sam but if I were Sam I would never be sure.

They do make one hell of a hot couple though lol! Their combined hotness would be almost too much for the universe to handle! (Sorry, Jack, you're gorgeous too but Marty is a work of art - like the difference between a Jaguar XK140 roadster (Ryan Phillipe's Cruel Intentions car) and an Aston Martin DB9 (James Bond's car in Casino Royale) - one is the attractive, timeless vintage model, one is the hot, young cool kid in town) (

I think I know who's the Jag (*cough* Jack *cough*) and who's the Aston Martin (*cough* Marty *cough*)! I cheated and looked at pictures of the cars on google images!

Actually if we go by the AU of Ripple Effect Sam and Martouf don't have a chance in the long run; even in that AU Sam left Martouf to be with JAck

Jack is ruggedly handsome, charming (when he wants to be), has a grin and smile to die for, gorgeous intense eyes and he's totally hot in those black short-sleeved shirts! Martouf is nice enough looking but in a pretty boy kind of way. Also very next door kinda guy, or thirteen in a dozen...

Just going by looks alone I'd say Sam and Jack make a totally hot couple, but if I saw Sam with Martouf I'd think he was lucky and probably punching a bit above his weight (less so than Pete, though; he was downright unattractive next to Sam or any of the guys on the show, really).

If I had to choose between Jack and Marty, I'd pick Jack any day of the week and twice on Sundays lol.

JR's tan always looks really OTT in Stargate for some reason but in RL it really suits him. He is a beautiful man though (I have a bit of a thing for the pretty boy look sometimes lol).

If you like "manly" men, Jack is definitely the way to go, he's a total Alpha!

Pete doesn't rate on my scale lol.

Yeah, JR is more of a white linen shirt and beige slacks kinda guy. RDA in a uniform on the other hand... he's tall enough and silver fox enough to make it look incredibly dashing!
