Thanks, Paradox! It's finally started warming up a lot. Only thing is we've had so much wind lately. Feels like I'm caught in a wind tunnel, lol! Sorry I've taken so long to reply. Got so busy at work and then I got sick (and I have to go for tests on Mon...*sigh*) but I'm a lot better now.

Oh gosh, so hard to choose. Right now I'd say either Cold Lazarus (because I love them working together so much in that episode) or Holiday.

Oh no, Jess! You were sick too? I'm glad your feeling better though! So are you looking forward to Spring like weather? It sure does take the northeast a long time to warm up, doesn't it?

Aw, thanks, Paradox! Yeah, I had some dizziness afterwards and the ENT specialist wanted me to have some tests. When I went they said everything looked good, but I still have to wait for the results. I'm feeling fine now though, they think my ears were bothering me thanks to my allergies. I heard it's going to be a bad spring for allergies here! I really am! It's been awful this year, ugh! These past two days it's been so damp and cool out. We're supposed to have nice weather this weekend finally - really looking forward to it!!

We've been having warm weather so far, but everything is yellow from all that pollen. Spring is so beautiful but the effect pollen has on me isn't.

So back in the good ol' days when SG-1 was still airing how often did you get negative comments on your S/D fics? I think i remember reading somewhere that for S/D shippers it became a 'rite of passage' to get a flaming review on their stories, or something like that. I hope you don't mind going down memory lane for me.

Aww, thanx guys! Means a lot to me to be back. And yes, thankfully, I am feeling better. I've suffering from a lovely chronic disease called Crohn's Disease! So, I really never know what kinda day I'm gonna wake up to. But like I said, I am feeling better and have been for a while (about 5 months, with a couple weeks interspersed here or there of feeling cruddy) which is a HUGE deal for me. I'm usually only lucky enough to feel decent for a week or less. But I've been on new meds since the beginning of the yr. so I think i have that to thank.

but anyway! Enough of that cheerful subject! I'm glad to hear your feeling better, too, Jess! Even though it never feels simple or small when you're feeling sick, I hope the specialist was right in saying it was your ears messing with you. Crossing my fingers that the weather where you are takes a turn for the better soon. And I hope the pollen leaves you and Paradox be!

One more thing. Meant to mention it last time, but forgot. (Ugh. I'm senile at 26. Great.) Since I've been feeling good, I've been able to write a lot more, and have even come up with a few S/D stories, but I'm not sure when (or if, sadly. Had a serious case of writers block since i got sick yrs ago. talk about frustrating!) I'll finish them. But I thought I'd give a heads up just in case I ever actually finish and muster up the courage to post 'em.

Haha, yep, definitely feeling better. I can tell cuz when I do I get a lost more verbose (Read: ramble)

And one more thing. I love the new pics, Paradox. Those two are really working the leather jackets. & the usual lack of personal space.

Ugh, I know what you mean, Paradox. The allergy season has been terrible here. My allergies have been killing me lately.

I was pretty lucky, I didn't get too many negative comments on my fics. Once in a while I'd get something like a "Sam/Daniel, ewww gross!" from another shipper that annoyed me, but most of them were pretty nice about it. I got into a fight with this one guy who was a S/J shipper and hated Daniel. I probably told you about him. He was just a really nasty person who couldn't deal with differences in opinion. One of my friends once got a nasty review from a D/V shipper. But yeah, one of my friends on Livejournal said she took her bad reviews as a badge of honor - it must mean she's doing something right. Oh and BTW, love the pics you posted!

Hey, Skywise! Aw, I'm so sorry you've had to deal with that, but I'm so glad you're feeling better now, that is a huge deal! I just had a health scare myself. When I had the dizziness that I mentioned before and had to go for tests at the ENT's office, this one doctor I saw told me he thought I had Meniere's Disease (it's a condition of the inner ear that makes you get bad dizzy spells, migraines and hearing loss). I freaked out when I read about it online because people said they got permanent hearing loss from it. I was really upset but then the doctor called a few days back and he backtracked. He said he thought the tests showed a "possibility" of the disease and he didn't think I'd ever end up with hearing loss. I feel absolutely fine, I don't have any symptoms. I've heard a lot of bad things about this doctor. He upset a few of my mom's friends, the whole thing is crazy. If I'm really concerned I'll ask for a second opinion from another doctor. But yeah, this is what has had me preoccupied for a while. That and work, which is getting busier.

Aw, I hope you can finish some of those stories! I'm itching for some S/D If you need any help or anything to motivate ya, just let me know

Ooh, possible S/D fics are in the works? I hope you'll be able to finish them and don't be worried about posting them up. I'd really love to read them.

Hey, Jess! Long time no see. For me the Allegra seems to be helping, thank goodness! Hope you find something to alleviate those pesky symptoms.

Hey, paradox! Aw, I was really missing you guys & this place! I wasn't getting my notifications, I dunno what happened! Whatever it was, I'm glad it's working again! That's great news! Benadryl seems to be helping me a lot, though I can't really take it during the day or it puts me to sleep lol. My doctor said Allegra was good, so I may look into that. Alavert is another one that I've had some luck with.

Hmm, well I guess I could say that I had a guilty pleasure 'ship in Teal'c/Vala. I've always loved her the best with Tomin, but there were times when I thought she and Teal'c were cute together... like in Beachhead during the basketball scene when she butts him with her hips, and that one particular scene in Uninvited.

Yeah, it's really a shame that they were so fixated on the D/V stuff that they didn't really explore her interaction with the other characters much. Maybe it's just me, but the scene in Family Ties where she'd come back from shopping with Sam felt kinda forced to me. Almost as if they went "Whoops, we haven't shown Vala interacting with Sam very much! We better fix that!"

That's a great question! I've always loved writing and for a while I was even thinking about getting published. But more recently I think it's mainly just a fun hobby. It's something I don't get to do too often anymore sadly, but when I do it's something I really enjoy.

Love the Within the Serpent's Grasp pic! I loved their interaction in that one so much.
