In CotG when 2 of the Jaffa get killed in the Gate room at the start we later see 1 of the bodies being examined. However no larva was found in the ''pouch''.
Any thoughts?
Did it just disintergate very very fast the moment that the Jaffa died?
If this the case how were the larva still alive in the killed Jaffa in the ''Threshold'' flashback?

they said that the Jaffa had larvas in them when explaining to oniell.
