There is a larger audience for syndication than there is for the SciFi Channel -- approx 105 million viewers for syndication vs 83 million for SciFi Channel.

But yes, so far, Season 7 is getting better ratings in syndication than it did first run.

sorry if this was asked before but when will all the S7 episodes be played through once in syndication? When will Sci-fi add S7 to its rerun loop. (Instead of going from "Full Circle" to "children of the gods", when will it go from "Lost City part 2" to "children of the gods"?)

The SciFi Channel won't have the broadcast rights for Season 7 again until September 2005.

When season seven will be added to the rotation...I can guess based on the current schedule, but it's only a guess...

The SciFi Schedulebot shows "Shades of Grey" as the last listed episode in the SciFi Monday rotation for May 30. "Shades of Grey" is a third season episode, and is episode # 62. "Fallen" is episode # 133. So that's 71 episodes to go, divided by 4 is approximately 17 Mondays.

17 Mondays from May 30th is...Sept. 26, 2005. But, July 4 is on a Monday this year, so SciFi may pre-empt SciFi Monday for movies, so then the possible starting date is Oct. 3, 2005.

It might have already been mentioned but Space Race was one of my favorite eps for the special effects. Granted the character development was sort of lite as it was mostly Sam-centric but the race itself and the alien city were really well executed. I generally prefer whole team eps but if you are going to watch a straight sci-fi / non character driven ep, this one is one of the best I think!
