When Oniell came back from Abydos they said that they detonated the nuke, and probably said Daniel was there at the time. Presumably that would be his first funeral. Then Fire and Water's funeral and the one after his ascension. So that makes 3? Thats a hell of a lot of explaining to do...

yeah i'd say it's 3 as well. But that pales in comaprison when you consider the number of times he has died/thought to have been dead by the team. lol. Gotta hand it to danny boy.......he just won't die.

Well, we know he had one in Fire and water, he never had one after his 'ascention' as Gen Hammond was talking to carter in the next episode about how Could they hold one since they don't know if he is dead or not. As for him having one after Abydos, i don't know..

I think you're right on the funeral count. He only had one on SG-1 and we don't know about the movie.

I like the part in Heroes when SG 13 finds the ruins and Balinsky says "Dr. Jackson's going to die when he sees this." and Dixon says-

"What, again?"

I think he had one more "death" left to go at that point.

Hes Died nearly 11 times, the fact hes only had 1 funeral, is quite remarkable. And he only had a memorial service, not a funeral.

I count so far..

1) The Film, when he got shot in the chest
2) Need, when he got crushed by the rocks
3) Meridian, though i am not sure if this counts since he ascended.
4) Morpheus, when Teal'c shot him.
5) Season 1, cannot remember the eps name when he went through the dimentional shifting mirror and found out he was dead.
6) Season 8 when replicarter stuck him with her sword..

counting all the times sg1 screwed with time would add a few more, unending, 2010, maybe he died in WoO. The Nox time, I think he could have died in the serpent's lair
