Yes they would. Foreign sales of US planes always retain their designation. But a country who designs and builds their own plane, they will not follow the US's designation systems.
On the CGI model, the X-303 was called a F-302. Look at the 'head' and the tower.
Giving the 303 and 304 BC is a naval designation but I guess you could give them that (technically not a battlecruiser though because they are the only example of a Earth capital ship and you need an example of a cruiser and a battleship to make them a battlecruiser).
That is cool, though you think you could try something akin to the Odyssey getting its lowest level floor and buttom hull getting torn asunder and ripped up ? Literally exposed to space ? you know what I mean ?

Boxy
Hello.
Which one, the star cruiser or the second one, or both?
Unfortunately, I haven't had much success with smooth shapes etc. I've been on and off with maya, but i'm trying to dedicate more time to improve the modelling.
I wanted to show that earth hasn't really improved so much, from the box design, due to small advancements in materials design and acquisition of certain materials etc. Hence the reason it plays so much throughout my ships.
In time, I will be able to improve on this, but not right now.
Have you checked out my fleet picture from before? check it out.
The ships all follow my stories (currently slowly gaining traction) so I had to have a common look throughout.
Thanks for the CC
