    update on the Daedalus-style.... worked on the main thrusters a bit....



    For a while i've been meaning to watch Eureka... but i'd never gotten around to doing so.... Till the other week when i managed to catch up.... saw the epsiode with the drone called Martha.... love the look of the drone.... and i ended up having a bash at something similar...



    Yes the wings are meant to be that thick... they'll be holding both a pair of landing gear... and a cannon & ammo.

            In addition, and though this is not a ship, i thought i'd still show it off..... i fleshed out a elaborate duel bladed sword that can be split into two.

            i also managed to remove almost 200k polys as i had accidentaly subdived some buildings but all fixed now and down to 1.6 million polys which in turn means i have more then enough polys to finish the mesh.

            Trying out SU....at last. Having trouble blending radii and can you draw one half and copy/mirror image like I do on CAD?

              Try selecting the parts you wish to mirror and then copy them with move command and right click "flip along red-,green-,blue axis." If you wish, you can componentize one side of the model and then flip the component around to the other side. Then all the modifications you make to the component are automatically mirrored to the other side.

                              they're doing a fine job IMO.

                              SGA and (in some cases) SG1 could've used ALX' help better than SGU. especially the explosions in Unending hurt my eyes
