well, finally got a new mouse, and got some work done took some of merlins suggestions into consideration, and i have two models - please say which one looks best.

Yup. The new one looks excellent. maybe you should stagger those turrets so they can all fire straight forward without obstruction.

The Shovel has a hand-guard now. How excellent. Is that arc for anything specific or is it there just to look good.

The heads a bit big, but that might be what your going for. The details at the back are insane! great work and can't wait for the finished product.

Just a small question: how do you stop the lines mashing together? change their colour or something?

well some stuff seem to be different in Sketch 7.
What I do, is go to Window -> Styles -> Default Styles -> Earth Modeling style

i did, didn't really like it. but i'll be playing around with it for while, to try and find out what looks best.

here's a the latest renders. i removed one cannon on each side, and then did the elevation thingie

well, i've done some more detailing, and i think it looks good

here's a render:



the rear cannon has a 360 degree rotation, while the others have 270 degrees. and all the firepower of the ship can be directed forward.
