- there is a set of mechanical arms (like the ones used by Dr Octopus in Spiderman, or the machines in Matrix) to grab & move the cargo.
I have not yet drawn them..
- a beam device like the one used by the Wraith or the Asgard in "Thor's Chariot". It dematerialize objects and store them as "energy signatures". For contraband, it's the best way to not meddle in the affair of your employer...
But wraith biotechnological dematerialisers are kind of rare.
Safer bet ot make it compatible with those cargo pods already in use in the MW.
BTW: The Icarus from Sunshine is good inspiration for realistic spaceship interiors.
Do you have a more precise idea about that? 1 more picture to help you (I hope... )
Once again an outstanding ship comes out of the Lord Groovy ship yard. It's been awhile since i've seen a ship not inspired by the Daedalus or Prometheus. Good Job

1. I'll try looking for Icarus pics. Thank You.
2. What are those cargo pods?
3. another alternative : rings associated to memory drives.
You go to a space-station,
take a cargo transport mission,
the guy dematerialize the cargo using rings with a special frequency acting as code,
transfer the energy signature in the memory drive aboard your ship and send the code to the receiver
you go with your ship to the rendez-vous point
the other guy using his frequency code and rings, rematerialize the cargo.
+1 for confidentiality
+1 for transport to place that don't have a stargate
+1 for the clients that only have to pay for the rings booking and the subspace transmission of the code
