When they have a long way to travel from the gate, why did they never take bicycles?
Eg. S02E19 with the plants and naked people 10 miles from the gate.

There's no reason they couldn't use vehicles, either. But I'm kinda glad they didn't.
It would have been funny if the Goa'uld stole the bicycle technology and we started seeing Jaffa on bikes for the next few seasons. -
I always wondered why they didn't do this -
* motocross bikes
* ATVs
* malp that has seats and can be driven around, perhaps with a biome with air filters etc.
* UAV recons on every mission
* constant video/audio monitoring link and record/relay backComment
