Bad News: A lot of trouble could have been saved if we'd just excavated the one buried in the explosion.

good news: they just have and now we have 2 stargates

Bad News: With the US uninhabitable, we're currently at the mercy of the Canadians, who think that use of the stargate might just offset the cost of taking in the Americans, muahaha.

Bad News: It doesn't take them long to convince Rodney that this is a pretty good idea.

good news: the arrival of the Asgard scare the Canadians away from any thought of invading the USA

(Gatebuster, the USA was blown up. The Canadians wants the gate because they're housing the evacuees. The gate was dug out of the remains of the SGC. Presumably it's in American hands.)

Good News: They stayed long enough to offer some sage advice.

Good News: We manage to find technology that will allow us to make the US and UK inhabitable again in a few short months.

Good news: The Ori see us as 'too young' and decide to leave us... for now

bad news: they obtained a copy of bible, found the similarities the Book of Origin and have figured that converting Earth won't be soo hard after all
