I tried counting up the votes cast since the last recap. I think I made a mistake somewhere along the way; somebody was healed when they should have been hurt, so maybe somebody would like to recount.
As near as I can tell, the changes are as follows
Sam Carter: +19 (21 healing points, 2 hurting points)
Jack O'Neill: +15 (19 healing points, 4 hurting points)
Daniel Jackson: +2 (4 healing points, 2 hurting)
Janet Fraiser: +15 (17 healing points, 2 hurting points)
Teal'c: +2 (3 healing points, 1 hurting point)
Jonas Quinn: +3 (6 healing points, 3 hurting points)
Thor: +7 (7 healing points, 0 hurting points)
Bra'tac: No change
George Hammond: +2 (2 healing points, 0 hurting points)
Sgt. Walter Harriman: +2 (2 healing points, 0 hurting points)
Sgt. Siler: No change
Gen. Jacob Carter/Selmak: No change
Kvasir: +2 (2 healing points, 0 hurting points)
Oma Desala: -2 (0 healing points, 2 hurting points)
Ba'al: -1 (2 healing points, 3 hurting points)
Prometheus (the ship): No change
Dr Bill Lee: -1 (0 healing points, 1 hurting point)
Col. Chekov: -1 (0 healing points, 1 hurting point)
Carolyn Lam: -9 (1 healing point, 10 hurting points)
Hank Landry: -4 (0 healing points, 4 hurting points)
Apophis: -4 (2 healing points, 6 hurting points)
Dr. Felger: -9 (0 healing points, 9 hurting points)
Richard Woolsey: -7 (1 healing point, 8 hurting points)
Vala Mal Doran: -14 (13 healing points, 27 hurting points)
Anubis: -13 (0 healing points, 13 hurting points)
Which would make the current scores
Sam Carter 138
Jack O'Neill 114
Janet Frasier 75
Daniel Jackson 68
Teal'c 53
Jonas Quinn 51
Thor 48
George Hammond 42

Thanks for picking this up
I'll play now.
Is it still basically the same as the Heal/Hurt SGA, with two votes a day?
V1:
Heal: Jack
Hurt: Apophis
V2:
Heal: Janet
Hurt: Sam

If I never reply to something you said to me, it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it means I'm lazy and the thread moves too fast. . It's all explained here. Well, one part anyhow My LibraryThing.
Is it still basically the same as the Heal/Hurt SGA, with two votes a day?
As far as I know, the rules haven't changed. It's still two votes per person per day, the first counting for two points, the second for one and you can't use both votes to heal or to hurt the same character.
I don't know if my count is 100% accurate, so a second pair of eyes would be a good idea.
When Formerhost comes back, she'll be able to clarify the rules.

I can do a recount, but you'll have to allow me a couple of hours.
I already had started one from the very beginning, and I can attest to the fact that scoring this game is a nightmare -- very error-prone.
One thing I think I may have made a mistake with is when people didn't label their votes as Day X, Vote 1 or Day X, Vote 2. Some one point votes could have been counted as two pointers.
It's definitely easier to count up if it is done regularly. There is less likelihood of a mistake if you count at least once a day, preferably more.
do the re-coutners want me to temporarily close this thread, to stop more votes from being added until they can come to a 'new' tally?
i can do that. shut it down for a few hours then re-open it with the new total and the game can commence
If we're picking up after Formerhost's last count and accepting that as accurate, I don't think that's necessary. I checked the time of Formerhost's last count and counted any votes after that, and only votes cast after my recap was posted have not yet been counted.
If we're doing a full recount from the first vote, we'd probably be better off tackling it one page or one day at a time from the beginning, in which case a pause might be a good idea.
I have a count for the first six days if ya want them. A total and daily breakdown - yes I'm a geek a bored geek. I'm just heading off to bed I'll find them and post 'em in the morning.
