[Martouf is finishing his override of the lock.]

MARTOUF
Okay.
[The door bursts open to the sound and air distortion of a hand device. Na'onak rushes in with the men behind him. They completely surround the team, placing their hands on them.]

KINTAC
Kneel before Na'onak!
[The team is forced to their knees.]

NA'ONAK
You shall call me Na'onak no longer. From this day forth I will reclaim my real name.
[He pulls the helmet and covering from his head, revealing that he is Apophis. The right half of his face is scarred and partially covered in a metal mask.]

APOPHIS
Apophis!</blockquote>

[The team reacts with surprise, hatred, and fear, and Apophis' eyes glow briefly.]

The Devil You Know

INT—TELTAK

[Teal'c gets up from his pilot seat and opens the cargo door to see everyone there.]

TEAL'C
(smiling)
We have escaped.
O'NEILL
Iced tea. Air conditioning. Water.
[Teal'c brings him some, smiling.]

O'NEILL
Thanks.
[Teal'c hands Aldwin his zat.]

ALDWIN
I'm sorry I doubted you.
TEAL'C
I am as surprised as you that we survived.
[Martouf gives a water bag to Carter, who gives it to Jacob.]

CARTER
Thank you.
JACOB
Do you have any leave coming up?
CARTER
Yeah, a little.
JACOB
I was thinking maybe we could take a little father-daughter vacation together.
CARTER
That'd be great, Dad.
JACOB
I hear Alaska's cold this time of year.
[Carter laughs and kisses him.]

EXT—TELTAK MOVING THROUGH HYPERSPACE

INT—VIEW OF NETU REMNANTS FROM SOKAR'S PALACE

[Apophis turns to face the camera.]

Foothold

INT—CONTROL ROOM

[SG-1, Dr. Fraiser and Major Davis are all in attendance.]

HAMMOND
I've ordered P3X-118 locked out of our dialing program.
CARTER
The human counterparts of those aliens woke up spontaneously. We're assuming the signals stopped when they went through the Stargate.
TEAL'C
Those who escaped still possess the knowledge they obtained from being linked to your minds.
O'NEILL
That's creepy.
HAMMOND
We changed all our codes. That's all we can do.
DANIEL
So…how did this happen, exactly? The aliens came through the Gate already impersonating SG-6?
FRASIER
We rushed them to the infirmary. We don't remember anything after that.
DAVIS
General Hammond asked me to come here, but he wouldn't say why. Presumably, their next step after the SGC was the Pentagon.
CARTER
Well, a high-frequency blast from the harmonic generator every time a team returns should prevent it from happening again.
[Maybourne enters.]

O'NEILL
Colonel Maybourne.
(Pause)
Good save.
MAYBOURNE
I thought you'd like to know the alien posing as Dr. Jackson expired.
TEAL'C
What of the aliens that were not caught in the Gate room explosion?
MAYBOURNE
We're guessing they were linked to their leader in some form or another when he self-destructed.
CARTER
What about the aliens that escaped through the Gate?
MAYBOURNE
I guess we'll never know. We'll have to hope the same thing happened to them.
[Carter nods.]

HAMMOND
We appreciate your help on this matter, Colonel Maybourne.
MAYBOURNE
(straightening)
Credit Major Carter. I do.
(Carter and O'Neill both looked shocked at this)
Well. I'm sure we'll see each other again.
O'NEILL
That'd be nice, Harry.
Maybourne looks surprised at the use of his first name, then looks at Carter. She nods once at Maybourne and he returns the gesture. Maybourne leaves. Carter looks down at the table, then looks at O'Neill, smiling proudly.

Pretense

INT—COURTHOUSE, TOLLANA

[Travell approaches Teal'c.]

TRAVELL
You disregarded my warnings.
O'NEILL
Mine too. Well done.
TRAVELL
If you were one of my subjects, I would be forced to discipline you. However, you are not one of my subjects.
[She places her hand against his chest and bows.]

TEAL'C
It could not have been done without the assistance of Lya.
CARTER
(to Lya)
I thought the Nox were pacifists.
LYA
I only hid the weapon. I did not fire it.
CARTER
Pretty fine line you didn't cross.
LYA
Yes it is.
O'NEILL
(to Travell)
So, we basically saved your whole planet, right?
TRAVELL
Yes.
O'NEILL
Are you therefore indebted to us in any modest way?
TRAVELL
I suppose that is the case.
O'NEILL
So how about giving us the plans to build one of those ion canons?
TRAVELL
You have been told our policy. That has not changed.
[Daniel enters the room.]

DANIEL
The, uh, Tok'ra have completed the procedure.
O'NEILL
Yeah?
[Two Tok'ra carry out a jar containing Klorel's Goa'uld form.]

LYA
What will become of Klorel?
NARIM
He will be sent to a Goa'uld world.
O'NEILL
To hell with him, what about…?
SKAARA
O'Neill!
[Skaara runs up to him.]

O'NEILL
(smiling)
Much better.
[They share a hug. Skaara catches sight of Teal'c and they shake hands, before Carter embraces Skaara.]

Urgo

INT—GATE ROOM, SGC

[SG-1 step out of the Gate onto the ramp, with all their weapons and equipment returned to them.]

[Hammond is waiting at the bottom of the ramp with armed soldiers and the MALP.]

HAMMOND
(to soldiers)
Stand down!
(to SG-1)
Glad you're back safe, SG-1. Was the mission successful?
O'NEILL
(confused)
Uh…
CARTER
General, didn't we just…?
HAMMOND
You've been gone over ten hours, Major.
CARTER
Oh boy.
HAMMOND
Report to the infirmary.
O'NEILL
Yes, sir.
[SG-1 wearily make their way down the ramp.]

A Hundred Days

EXT—VILLAGE, EDORA (DAY)

[The Edorans are reuniting with their people, while SG-1 stand close by.]

CARTER</br> (to O'Neill)
So when the third MALP sent back just a few seconds of telemetry, we knew the Gate was hori…zontal.
[She is cut off as O'Neill brushes passed her.]

CARTER
Is he all right?
DANIEL
He's fine. I just don't think he was expecting to go home again.
[O'Neill stands before Laira and she takes his hands.]

LAIRA
You must be very happy to be going home.
O'NEILL
No, I'm not.
LAIRA
You don't have to.
O'NEILL
Come with me.
LAIRA
I belong here.
O'NEILL
I'll come back. Soon. We still have that treaty to talk about.
LAIRA
Of course. Our two worlds are going to be friends.
[They embrace sadly.]

LAIRA
Closer friends. Fair day and be well.
[O'Neill walks back to SG-1 while Laira stands and watches, her hands crossed protectively over her stomach.]

INT—GATE ROOM, SGC

[Teal'c is tying Tobias' wrists together as Newman finally steps through the Gate. O'Neill has his hand through the event horizon, but he withdraws it, and the Gate shuts down.]

O'NEILL
Good job kids.
(to Makepeace) Uh, give me one of those.
[Makepeace hands him a pair of plastic handcuffs.]

MAKEPEACE
Here.
[O'Neill quickly grabs him and handcuffs him, while other Airmen point their sidearms at him.]

MAKEPEACE
What the hell…what are you doing?!
O'NEILL
That would be…my job.
[Hammond comes over, along with Carter and Daniel.]

HAMMOND
(to Mayborne's group)
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to announce that you're all under arrest for high crimes against the United States and its allies.
[Travell enters the Gate room.]

MAKEPEACE
You really blew it O'Neill.
O'NEILL
Oh, I think it came off quite nicely, don't you General?
HAMMOND
Yes I do.
MAKEPEACE
You have no idea how high up this goes.
O'NEILL
Like the Tollan, Tok'ra, Asgard, Nox…those folks?
MAKEPEACE
They refuse to give us the things we need to defend ourselves against the Goa'uld.
O'NEILL
We don't need their stuff Makepeace. We do need them.
HAMMOND
Get them out of here.
[Mayborne's people are dragged out of the Gate room.]

DANIEL
So, just to uh, clarify, this whole past week, beginning with the appeal we made on Tollana in which I did a lot of hard work, by the way…I take it that was all a scam.
HAMMOND
Within the last two weeks, the Asgard and the Tollan approached us independently of each other with evidence that we were stealing technology from them.
CARTER
We? The SGC?
HAMMOND
Yes. The Asgard, the Tollan and the Nox were going to sever all ties with us. But we convinced them the theft must be the action of a rogue group from outside the SGC.
TRAVELL
We insisted that you apprehend them yourselves. You have now regained our trust.
CARTER
So, you set that whole thing up on Tollana in the hopes that the mole would think you were one of them and approach you?
DANIEL
And you didn't think you could trust us to help?
HAMMOND
We wanted to assure that your reaction to the Colonel's behaviour was as it should be. And the Asgard insisted that Colonel O'Neill be the only one involved.
O'NEILL
They like me.
HAMMOND
And now, will you come with me your Eminence?
[He and Travell leave the Gate room.]

O'NEILL
(to his team)
I'm back.
CARTER
(smiling)
It's good to have you back, sir.
TEAL'C
Indeed.
O'NEILL
Thank you.
[Daniel doesn't say anything.]

O'NEILL
Um, Daniel?
(He gestures for Daniel to walk with him)
That stuff I was talking about at my house…
DANIEL
Uh…
O'NEILL
The place was bugged, I had to keep up the act.
DANIEL
I, it's, I understand.
O'NEILL
And obviously the whole friendship thing, the foundation, it's all solid.
DANIEL
Obviously, it's, you don't have to…
O'NEILL
Nothing to worry about.
DANIEL
You don't have to…
O'NEILL
No, no, I feel I kinda…I do appreciate that you were the one that came to see if I was ok. That…that means something.
DANIEL
(halting)
Ah, actually, no it doesn't.
O'NEILL
Huh?
[Daniel exchanges a look with Carter and Teal'c.]

DANIEL
Um, we, uh, we drew straws. I lost.
[Daniel and Carter continue on down the corridor. Teal'c pauses by O'Neill with a distinctly smug look on his face, then follows, leaving the Colonel standing there.]

New Ground

INT—INFIRMARY, SGC

[Both Teal'c and Nyan are lying in hospital beds in the infirmary.]

FRASIER
Well Teal'c, all I can say is that Junior is a resilient little guy.
NYAN
Who is Junior?
TEAL'C
That is the name Colonel O'Neill has given my symbiote.
CARTER
So how are you feeling?
TEAL'C
Greatly improved, Major Carter. Thank you.
O'NEILL
(to Nyan)
Here's some good news. The airforce has agreed to get you refugee status, which means you can stay here on Earth. With us. If you'd like.
NYAN
What would I do here?
DANIEL
Well I think we've got a little job for you Nyan, if you're interested. I have a backlog of ancient artifacts gathered from previous missions and I could really use a research assistant. It would also be a great way to learn about the history of your ancestors.
FRASIER
(to Nyan and Teal'c)
But for now, you both need to rest.
O'NEILL
And we'll leave you to it.
[Frasier and the rest of SG-1 leave the infirmary.]

NYAN
Thank you, Teal'c.
TEAL'C
You have saved my life, as well as the life of my friends. It is I who should thank you.
NYAN
I still wish I could have shown you to my friends in the science community. They would have been fascinated.
TEAL'C
Perhaps one day the situation on your planet will improve and you will get that opportunity.
[He smiles and settles back in his bed.]

Maternal Instinct

EXT—TEMPLE (NIGHT}

COBURN
(over the radio)
It's gone, sir.
O'NEILL
(to Daniel)
You all right?
DANIEL
Yeah.
O'NEILL
Let's go home.
[They start to head out of the temple grounds.]

O'NEILL
Daniel?
DANIEL
(dazedly)
Yeah?
O'NEILL
Shoes.
[Daniel, barefoot, looks down then starts searching for his boots.]

Crystal Skull

INT—PYRAMID

[They enter the pyramid and pause by the original MALP, looking out over the cavern.]

NICK
(excitedly)
It's just as I remembered it. This is where they live.
[He starts to cross the narrow bridge, stumbles slightly and is steadied by O'Neill. They cross the bridge and reach the island. Daniel walks over to the pedestal while Teal'c retrieves the skull from his pack. He hands to Nick, who goes to the pedestal and places it on top.]

NICK
Now we must wait for the giant aliens.
O'NEILL
(dryly)
That just has a nice ring to it.
[Nick steps down from the pedestal.]

O'NEILL
(into his radio)
General Hammond, we're in position.
HAMMOND
(over the radio)
Understood Colonel. Proceed.
[Daniel bends forward and looks directly into the eyes of the skull. It starts to glow and the energy field springs up, enveloping all of them.]

CARTER
Sir, radiation's climbing again.
NICK
(looking at the lights surrounding them)
This is incredible.
O'NEILL
Daniel said to let it happen.
[Daniel is still staring into the eyes of the skull, when the field collapses back into the skull.]

CARTER
(seeing him)
Daniel!
[He turns around.]

DANIEL
Sam.
[He heads down the steps towards them.]

DANIEL
(cont'd)
It worked.
[Teal'c is looking around.]

TEAL'C
O'Neill! Major Carter!
[He doesn't appear to be able to see any of them. O'NEILL waves his hand through TEAL'C.]

O'NEILL
Carter?
CARTER
It appears that we're out of phase like Daniel, but Teal'c isn't.
DANIEL
Why?
O'NEILL
You're asking me?
TEAL'C
(into his radio)
General Hammond, I was not teleported with the others.
HAMMOND
(over the radio)
Return to base immediately.
[After one last look around, Teal'c obeys. A mist suddenly rises up from below them, materialising into the form of a giant, human-shaped being.]

O'NEILL
(taking a step back)
Holy smoke! Hello! What's your name?
GIANT ALIEN
Oo ya waaling waaling wey tayil.
O'NEILL
Daniel?
DANIEL
'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.'
O'NEILL
I know what it's saying, why is it saying that?
DANIEL
It didn't affect Teal'c, why?
CARTER
Because he's Jaffa.
DANIEL
He's carrying a symbiote, a Goa'uld.
[He steps towards the alien.]

DANIEL
(to the alien)
We are enemies of the Goa'uld!
GIANT ALIEN
(in English)
Then you are welcome here.
O'NEILL
(to Daniel)
Keep talking.
DANIEL
We're travellers, we come in search of friendship. We'd like to exchange our knowledge and culture.
GIANT ALIEN
We accept your proposition.
(He points to Nick.)
You may remain.
NICK
Me?
O'NEILL
Him?
GIANT ALIEN
(to Nick)
This is not the first time you have journeyed here.
NICK
You remember.
DANIEL
(to the alien)
There are others among our people who would gladly return.
NICK
No, Daniel. Let me.
DANIEL
Nick.
NICK
This was my life's work. I've been hoping for another chance at this for twenty-nine years. Please.
DANIEL
You just came back into my life.
NICK
I'll be back again.
GIANT ALIEN
(to the others)
Look again into the eyes of the skull.
O'NEILL
Well, Nick…take notes.
NICK
I will.
[Carter waves goodbye as she and O'Neill head towards the skull.]

DANIEL
You have to tell me everything.
NICK
I promise.
(He places his hands on Daniel's shoulders.)
Daniel, I am proud of you.
DANIEL
Goodbye… (he smiles)
Grandpa.

INT—SGC CONTROL ROOM

DAVIS
Naval recovery teams are moving in to deal with any wreckage…
[Daniel looks at him.]

DAVIS
(cont'd)
I'm sure you were right, Dr. Jackson. The point of commandeering the Stargate had to be an escape.
[Daniel looks into the Gate room.]

DANIEL
I just hope they made it out on time.
EXT—PACIFIC OCEAN

[There are bits or wreckage floating on top of the water. One of the replicators clambers out of the ocean and onto the wreckage…]
