Now for season 5 episodes 12 - 22:
Wormhole X-Treme
INT—ALIEN WALL SET, WORMHOLE X-TREME SOUNDSTAGE
[The three other cast members are in positions, standing sideways in heroic poses. Marlowe is in the foreground, facing forward. His hands are on his hips as he looks at the floor for his mark.]
DIRECTOR
And, turn your back to me.
[Marlowe cautiously starts turning his back to the Director.]
DIRECTOR
Turn all the way around to me. And do the annoying thing, and then look back. And…action!
MICHAEL DELUISE
(dropping out of the Marlowe/Danning character)
How could this not be a real show?
[The other three relax and laugh.]
PETER DELUISE
Hooh. Oh, forget it. Just cut.
Proving Ground
[The blast door opens and Hammond and O'Neill approach. Hailey exits.]
HAMMOND
SG teams require the commitment to go above and beyond the call of duty. You've just demonstrated that, Lieutenant.
ELLIOT
Yes, sir.
HAMMOND
After a few days rest, you're to report back to the SGC, where you will be assigned to SG-17 under Major Mansfield.
O'NEILL
If you think I was tough on you…
ELLIOT
What about the rest of the team?
HAMMOND
They will be assigned to SG teams as positions become available down the road, but the first assignment is yours.
ELLIOT
Yes, sir.
HAMMOND
Congratulations, son.
[Hammond shakes Elliot's hand and exits.]
O'NEILL
Good job. Hey, you knew it was a test when you shot me, right?
ELLIOT
Well…maybe…suspected.
O'NEILL
And you really think the test is over now?
[The red alarm light begins to strobe and the klaxons begin to blare as O'Neill and Elliot exit the gate room.]
48 Hours
INT—GATEROOM
[Hammond and O'Neill enter. O'Neill puts his hand on Siler's shoulder.]
O'NEILL
Shake it off, Sparky.
[O'Neill mounts the ramp, followed by Carter.]
O'NEILL
Teal'c, buddy. You alright?
TEAL'C
Indeed.
CARTER
Teal'c, as far you know what just happened?
TEAL'C
I have my revenge, Tanith is dead!
[O'Neill claps him on the shoulder.]
O'NEILL
That's nice. I'm happy for you.
CARTER
It's good to see you in one piece.
O'NEILL
Yes, we thought we lost you, again.
CARTER
Are you sure you're feeling perfectly normal?
TEAL'C
Yes. What has transpired here?
O'NEILL
Well, believe it or not you owe your life to a Goa'uld.
TEAL'C
Never!
O'NEILL
Yes.
Summit
INT—TOK'RA TUNNEL
[SG-1 and Elliot are trying to find a way out when more of the ceiling collapses.]
TEAL'C
The tunnel is blocked.
CARTER
Does Lantash know if there's another way to the secondary ring room?
ELLIOT
There isn't.
TEAL'C
Then indeed we are trapped.
Last Stand
[SG-1 exchange glances. Elliot closes his eyes, and Lantash takes control.]
LANTASH
Please. We're both going to die. I cannot save us.
(looks directly at Carter)
But there's a chance we can save you.
O'NEILL
What about Elliot?
ELLIOT
It doesn't make sense for any of you to risk your lives to try and save me. Give me the device.
[Daniel looks to O'Neill, who looks away, then nods reluctantly. Daniel gives him the device.]
ELLIOT
Now go. They'll be here soon.
[Carter caresses the side of his face. He looks at Carter.]
ELLIOT
He's happy now; he just wanted you to know how he felt.
CARTER
I do. And I'll never forget him. Or you.
[A glider flies over.]
TEAL'C
Ground forces will not be far behind.
JACOB
Sam, we got to go.
[Carter strokes Elliot's cheek as he looks terrified. Carter is led away by Jacob. O'Neill nods at Elliot, then walks off. Elliot is left alone, his breathing laboured. He hears a Jaffa hunting horn, and puts the poison in his pocket. He looks terrified but resolved. Many Jaffa footsteps can be heard, followed by another horn blast.]
Fail Safe
INT—BRIDGE OF CARGO SHIP
[Daniel and Teal'c are resting in the command chairs while Carter and O'Neill rest on the ground, O'Neill lying on his back.]
DANIEL
So, two hours of life support, then what?
O'NEILL
Hammond will find us.
DANIEL
I'm confident.
CARTER
Me, too.
TEAL'C
As am I.
[There is a strange electronic noise. O'Neill and Carter get up as a video screen pops up.]
TEAL'C
Sensors are picking up a vessel approaching. It appears to be another cargo ship.
CARTER
Goa'uld?
TEAL'C
I do not know. The ship is taking up position directly above us.
[A Tok'ra appears on the electronic viewscreen.]
JALEN
I am Jalen of the To'kra. We received your distress call and came as fast as we could. Can we render assistance?
O'NEILL
Well, you know, it's not like we don't have everything totally under control here, but… sure render away.
[The rest of SG-1 looks bemusedly at O'Neill.]
The Warrior
EXT—CLEARING BY STARGATE, CAL MAH, DAY
[Carter finishes dialing the stargate and joins Daniel by it. He steps through first leading the Jaffa. Carter guides the Jaffa until O'Neill approaches, then steps through herself.]
JAFFA FEMALE #2
Go, go!
O'NEILL
Teal'c, let's go!
[O'Neill helps some of the Jaffa mount the steps. Behind him, Teal'c moves forward, still supported by Bra'tac. They pause and watch as the encampment is destroyed.]
BRA'TAC
Our time will come, old friend, but not this day.
[Teal'c looks at Bra'tac and nods weakly. They head through the stargate.]
Menace
INT—GATE ROOM
DANIEL
You stupid sonova*****.
O'NEILL
Hey. You're welcome.
DANIEL
You didn't have to shoot her.
O'NEILL
Yes I did.
DANIEL
She was shutting them down.
O'NEILL
I had no way of knowing that and neither did you.
DANIEL
They didn't stop because you shot her. They stopped because she told them to.
O'NEILL
Carter said she was losing control. Now if just one of those damn things got out of this base, developed its own personality, we would be royally screwed.
DANIEL
You just killed the only chance we'll ever have of stopping them.
O'NEILL
Look, I'm sorry. But this is the way it had to go down and you know it.
O'NEILL
(Into radio)
All units, this is SG One Niner, commence sweep. I want every one of those damn things out of here.
[He leaves the Gate room, leaving Daniel sitting on the floor beside Reece.]
The Sentinel
INT—SENTINEL CAVE
[SG-1 and Grogan look up at the Sentinel. Grieves has disappeared.]
CARTER
He's gone.
TEAL'C
As are the Jaffa.
[Carter looks at Kershaw, who lies dead beside her. She closes Kershaw's eyes. Daniel approaches O'Neill and Grogan.]
GROGAN
What just happened?
CARTER
The Sentinel was never damaged, sir. It just required a human component.
[Daniel starts to unchain O'Neill.]
DANIEL
Man and machine working together to become a weapon.
TEAL'C
The Sentinel is indeed a device of great power. It would be wise to ask the Latonans if we may study it further.
O'NEILL
Oh, I think I know what they'd say.
Meridian
DREAM SEQUENCE
INT—DREAM GATE ROOM
DANIEL
I'm gonna miss you guys.
O'NEILL
Yeah, you too.
DANIEL
Thank you. For everything.
O'NEILL
So, what? See you around?
DANIEL
I don't know.
[Daniel turns and walks up the ramp.]
O'NEILL
Hey… where are you going?
DANIEL
I don't know.
[Daniel walks through the Gate and disappears as O'Neill watches.]
END DREAM SEQUENCE
INT—SGC INFIRMARY
[Daniel ascends through the ceiling, and we close on O'Neill's face.]
Revelations
INT—SGC CORRIDOR
[O'Neill and Teal'c walk down a corridor in casual clothes.]
O'NEILL
We're not that much of a nuisance just yet.
TEAL'C
Of that I am not so sure.
[They meet Carter and Hammond at the elevator.]
CARTER
Hey.
O'NEILL
Hey.
CARTER
Heading home?
O'NEILL
Actually, Teal'c and I were thinking of stopping off for a bite to eat. Interested?
CARTER
Sounds good.
O'NEILL
General?
HAMMOND
You three go ahead, I've still got some work to do.
[Suddenly Carter's hair is ruffled by a gust of wind. Teal'c also turns towards the breeze.]
CARTER
What was that?
[Hammond turns back to look at SG-1]
TEAL'C
Perhaps a malfunction in the ventilation system?
O'NEILL
Yeah, that's probably it.
CARTER
(to Hammond) Bye, sir, have a good night.
[Hammond walks off. Carter walks into the elevator and Teal'c follows. Another gust of wind ruffles O'Neill's hair and he turns into the elevator, smiling.]
Now get voting for your three favourites from those above!
Honorable mention goes to Last Stand, Fail Safe, The Warrior, and Revelations.
It seems that each round, I either have a difficult time coming up with three things I want to vote for, or I come up with six or seven things I want to vote for.
