Failed to live up to past season finales. The space battle was the only thing worth watching, but even that was unimpressive. Especially as I’ve been overly spoiled in the past by superior space battles in Babylon 5, DS9 and earlier SG-1 episodes.
*Maybe I should have chosen Crusade last round, as it's been years since I last watched One False Step.*

A clip show, and a boring one to boot. I do agree with Missster.Freeman about the battle in "Camelot". Some friends of mine saw it, and then later that night we watched the part in "New Order" where the Asgard ships blow up the Replicator ship. My one friend was in shock at how good "New Order" looked. He said that it looked like movie graphics whereas the battle in "Camelot" looked like it had been done on someone's home computer or something. Plus, the battle just wasn't that good. Spoiler:
one sided thing it was trying to show, but still. When the Asgard and Jaffa ships were shooting it looked and sounded like they were just throwing pebbles or something.
I thought it really was SG-1 back to it's best. I re-watched the space battle just last night just cos i loved it first time round. It seemed longer the first time, but the music really sells it. Listen to it as the Supergate opens. Gave me goosebumps. IMO, an amazing episode. Much potential S10 has...
BTW from what I've read about the 200th episode "not unlike Wormhole X-Treme!" I realised this will be crap number 2. I have a name for it Wormhole X-Tremes!
