Season 1 - 8 Worst Episode Tournament

Wow! I think this is the first time this has ever happened. Six of my votes have gone in the last five rounds!

I've had 7 voted off total.
Plus another 12 that i didn't mind but just shouldn't have gone higher than the eps still on my list. But still we're in round 28 and I've gotten to change my vote 7 times - that gets a little boring.

Can kind of see why Enemies, my all-time favorite ep, and Scorched Earth, my #4 ep, haven't gone yet (at least now that it's been explained to me). But isn't it time for Menace to go? It's got action, a moving storyline, Replicators, a good moral dilemma with no right or wrong answer, great character development, more development of the never-to-be-sufficiently-watched Jack/Daniel friendship - it's quintessential Stargate.

Yes those are all good points but you forget the really really really really annoying girl/character/machine. And that brings the episode down somewhat in my view.

Heck, I'll join the movement to get "Enemies" higher on the list. As for COTG, there's nothing "wrong" with it, I just think they've done a lot better since and there's a strong undertone of misogyny in that episode that really puts me off. I'm glad it didn't win the "Best Episode" tourney b/c that would have the depressing implication that the show debuted with its finest episode and has been going downhill ever since.

I disagree, I thought she was one of the best guest stars that Stargate has had on the show to date, perfectly conveying childhood innocence with something much more disturbing.
