Looking back at Season 8, there wern't actually many episodes I hated. I mean some of these episodes that I'm voting off I liked and we're still in round 4!
I suppose Season 8 was spoilt be really bad episodes. Including Prometheus Unbound. Someone asked for reasons?
- the sex referances. I don't mind them in stuff like Battlestar because it's been there since the start, but for 8 years we've had only hints between Sam and Jack and that's it, but all of a sudden we get this.
- Vala's attempts at humour didn't help either.
- that cringe worthy fight scene. The only good thing about this was when Daniel zatted Vala at the end.
- How Colonel Reynolds was hesitant to give Hammond mouth-to-mouth. This was highly un-professional and made the show seem much less realistic.
- Dr. Lindsey Novak with the hicups. It was annoying and unrealistic. It was pretty obvious that this character wouldn't be a scientist on the Prometheus. Or a scientist period.
- Perhaps the most unrealistic part of this episode when Walter pilots the Alkesh and destroys enemy ships. This guy is a Gate Technician for cryin g out loud!
I guess in conclusion the episodes plot wasn't that bad but it was spoilt by utter unrealistic nonsense.
