koala-esque, wise, powerful beings, but the youngest of the Great Races. while the Nox shielded themselves from the plague, the asgard fled the MW, the ancients got nearly wiped out but escaped to pegasus, the Furlings almost completely died out from the plague, not possessing super hyperdrives.
the Furlings however are the best tacticians. while they were pacifist ( perhaps too much, leading to their nigh-extinction) currently they're more violent.
as i said, they should look koala-like. i recently found an interesting piece of artwork.
