I could see her back on campus, looking at an old picture of her and Charlie that she's kept. She's trying to remember who took the picture. She flashes back to when the picture was taken.
I was thinking she heads back to her home on the base that she and her mom share, and she is looking at an old scrapbook of hers and she flips through it when she thinks about her missing dad hoping to find some clues about him and that's when she finds the photos of her and Charlie as kids and it starts to dawn on her.

Does she tell her mom about the ATA gene that she has?
Hmmm I think that she doesn't at first but eventually she does!

For the picture of her and Charlie, it's her favorite, so it has the honor of being framed. It's the two of them, sitting down, with their arms over the other's shoulders. She's trying to remember who took the picture and flashes back to the day it was taken. I don't think I need to say who took the picture ().
That's a good idea! I'll get started on the scenario now!
Elizabeth was now in Janet's medical area and she was trying not to wince as she saw the needle that would used to remove some blood for testing. Janet smiled sweetly, "Don't worry I promise I'll be as gentle as possible with this okay kiddo?" Elizabeth nodded and turned her head so she wouldn't have to watch her.
About a minute later Janet was throwing away the used needle and the gloves into a bin so it wouldn't be contaminated, "Okay all done, give me a few hours so I can look this over in the lab, so why don't you go get some rest and I'll have Sam or someone else bring you back and we'll go over the results together okay?" Elizabeth nodded, she knew that her mom was still on duty and so she asked Sam if she could drop her off at home which Sam agreed to do so.
"You gonna be okay?" Sam asked her as they rode towards the house, Elizabeth wasn't sure but she nodded, "Yep, I think so." she said. Sam dropped her off and went back to the base to go help Janet go over Elizabeth's blood sample to help look for the Ancient gene. Elizabeth unlocked the door and headed towards her bedroom, her walls were decorated with a few posters of her favorite movies and she had a desk, a set of dressers, a nightstand with a lamp on it, a closet full of clothes and a trunk at the foot of her bed of various childhood mementos. She remembered that it was still locked and the key was in her jewelery box. She had a few pieces of jewelery that her mom had given her, a pearl necklace and earrings that had been a high school graduation gift, her high school class ring, a locket and a friendship bracelet with the words BFF on it which she had gotten from her former best friend Patricia who had moved away and Elizabeth lost track of since their moms had been in the Air Force together until sadly Patricia's mom was sent on a secret mission and never returned and it was believed that she had been killed in action.
Anyways Elizabeth wanted to see if there was any clues about her father in her trunk, she found her baby book that was full of writings of her mom about her as a baby and a copy of her birth certificate, a pink stuffed bear that had been given to her from her grandparents as a gift when she was born, some baby outfits, her scrapbook full of various mementos, some trophies and certificates and more!
Elizabeth picked up the scrapbook and flipped through it, she laughed as she spotted a few baby pictures of herself, some of her childhood photos in school, then she spotted a few pages that were labelled Charlie and Lizzy Bee, she saw that the photos were of her and a boy named Charlie O'Neill, then Elizabeth remembered this had been her childhood best friend (before she met Patricia which would be about 4 years later when they were teens). Elizabeth spotted a photo of her and Charlie where they were sitting down on a porch swing with their arms over the other one's shoulders, it was in a photo frame that said; Rest in Peace Charlie.
Elizabeth then spotted a copy of Charlie's obituary that had been cut out of a newspaper, she began to cry as she realized that Charlie was Jack's son and she remembered that they had been super good friends but she had lost track of his dad and his mom and she hadn't attended the funeral because her mom had been away on a mission and her grandparents had taken care of Elizabeth during that time.
Elizabeth gasped and realized she needed to tell Jack this information and tell him how sorry she was about his loss and she hoped that she and he could be close even though they were more like a father-daughter.

But what makes her realize that Charlie's dad is the same guy who'd saved her from the biker? Could you do the flashback to when the picture was first taken?
She has the obituary so it tells who his parents are. And I can do the flashback soon I nearly teared up as I wrote it because I was thinking of how some mementos I have remind of my dad and how they make me cry. You see my dad died nearly 4 years ago and he got me started on the series and I tried to base Elizabeth on me in that incident!

I'm sorry about your dad. You two sound like you were very close. I'm close to my dad as well, and I can't imagine being without him. Mine also got me onto Stargate.
I haven't lost a parent (yet), but I can't imagine losing either one of them, even though I argue with my mom a lot nowadays.
My dad and I started getting closer just before he died but we did have a lot of good memories so every time I watch Stargate or talk about it, it makes me think of him!
It's not easy to lose a parent trust me but I use my writing to help heal my hurts!

Just need to brainstorm some more for the scenario!

The school is closing and they want me out of the learning commons. It's unlikely that I'll get on later, but I'll try! Can't wait to see what else you come up with!
