ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED

• Accidents Will Happen by ALC Punk (M rated; link to author's profile) - Sam Carter and Jack O'Neill accidentally get married. Are there any loopholes, or is it a done deal?
• Karma by Annerb - Daniel discovers a binding consequence of SG1’s time with the Shavadai.
• Oh Crap Indeed by SaidbhinLuch - Typical SG-1 antics... which is not so typical. Basically, Daniel gets Sam and Jack into a tricky situation, and then Jacob finds out. Humour runs rampant, as does Sam's anger and Jack's unusual reactions. S/J naturally!

• Alien Influence (Another one of those) by djenie - It's just too much fun to pass up- I had to give the 'alien influence' device a try! Sam and Jack, of course. Suggestive, but not explicit. Some swear words. One or two comments in bad taste. No spoilers. Takes place in the first or second season. Humor, I hope!
• Animal Husbandry by Janis Cortese (R rated; link to archive with link to fic) - The team visits a planet that had been seeded with hominids before the evolution of H. sapiens, and the creatures there took (or failed to take) an interesting evolutionary zig. Sam and Jack get stuck right in the middle of it. When in the field, you do what you have to do in order to survive.

Their friendship and their team in ruins, can they move on to something new and possibly better? The subject matter is mature but there is nothing graphic.

• The Torment of Tantalus by Karibou (M rated; link to author's profile) - The team explores an abandoned offworld structure and makes a discovery that has some unintended consequences for Carter and O'Neill.

How about an Alien Virus subcategory? I usually interpret "aliens made them do it" with there being an actual alien or more that is/are purposely making them do it. Alien viruses are usually unintentional and don't really have someone "making" them do it...

Anyway, just a suggestion.

I have two stories that fit the bill, both are alien virus and highly M-rated!

Consequences of Being Touched by fems
Seven years after the Touched-virus, a new alien virus affects those previously infected. As the disease spreads, memories and bonds thought long forgotten come to light, revealing what really happened all those years ago.

One Touch Is Enough by fems
What really happened when Sam jumped Jack in the locker room and he hauled her off to the infirmary? When did they change her into scrubs, who did it and how were they able to do it when she was so out of control by the time they got her strapped to a gurney? Prequel of sorts for CoBT but can stand-alone.

Glad you thought it was helpful. I've made another thread about S/J fics with a medical subplot but I was wondering whether I should include alien viruses or other infections as well, or just let you list them. It would mean overlap but on the other hand it couldn't hurt, could it?

I've read both of those "The aliens made them do it, subcategory Alien viruses" stories of fems. They are very good. I reccommend those stories to anyone who is thinking about reading them.

I really don't see any harm in overlapping...It would just mean more work for you if I'm already going to be linking them here. You could always post a link if you didn't want to double up the work. Completely up to you, though. What we're trying to do here is make it easier for folks to find the kinds of stories they enjoy. Nothing wrong with actually making that *easy*.
