3x02: ''Code of Honor'' - Sneak Peek
===============================
EXT. FARM LAND - DAY
We OPEN UP the episode with a shot of a Farm engulfed in fire and weapons fire, the sounds of women and children screaming can be heard as we zoom in to find that the LUCIAN ALLIANCE are taking hostages and rounding them up in a straight line.
LATHAM
Listen up! This land is now property of the Lucian Alliance, all of your food and supplies will go to the Alliance and all able bodied men will be selected for service in the Alliance army.
The man speaking is LATHAM a revered Commander in the Lucian Alliance, medium build with short dark hair. As he speaks he paces back and forth looking at the hostages as he does.
LATHAM (CONT’D)
Those who refuse the Lucian Alliance will be deemed outcasts and suffer the fate of outcasts, death by firing squad.
He walks back and stands with his men as they aim their weapons in perfect unison and await final orders from Latham, a few minutes seem to pass as Latham and the other members of his team wait for final orders from their commander. He finally shakes his head in disappointment.
LATHAM
Such a waste of potential.
He turns to face his men and signals with his hand giving them the order to fire, as the men fire their weapons killing every man woman and child in the farm we pan across to reveal VARRO is one of those men.
CUT TO:
INT. DESTINY - VARRO’S QUARTERS
Varro gasps as he lifts himself up sweating from having been tossing and turning so much. He reaches over and looks at the clock it reads 3:00:00 AM, he sighs and lays back down on the bed keeping his eyes open.

===============================
INT. DESTINY - YOUNG’S QUARTERS
EVERETT YOUNG is in his quarters speaking with NICHOLAS RUSH.
EVERETT YOUNG
How the hell can an entire solar system disappear?
NICHOLAS RUSH
That’s exactly the question we are trying to answer.
We pan down and see a CHESS BOARD as Rush moves a pawn forward.
EVERETT YOUNG
Any theories?
NICHOLAS RUSH
Several, actually.
Everett picks up the piece shaped like a horse and moves it to a square on the board.
EVERETT YOUNG
Well I am all ears.
NICHOLAS RUSH
One of the most likely scenarios is that we have encountered the alien species that supposedly created the Eden planet we came across.
Everett looks quizzical at Rush.
EVERETT YOUNG
The one we left Doctor Caine and the others on?
NICHOLAS RUSH
Correct.
EVERETT YOUNG
So you are telling me that these alien are capable of creating and destroying planets at will, without any regard to any life form what so ever?
NICHOLAS RUSH
I wouldn’t put it like that, exactly.
Rush finally makes his next move and moves another pawn to a different square.
EVERETT YOUNG
Then how exactly would you put it?
Rush leans back in his chair and crosses his arms as Everett makes his move.
NICHOLAS RUSH
The man Lieutenant Scott and Sargent Greer encountered on their way back to the Gate, he told us to leave that solar system and never return.
Everett leans back and waits for Rush to make his next move.
EVERETT YOUNG
But how do we know that this man is even from the same species?
NICHOLAS RUSH
That’s the mystery isn’t it? We’ll never know with absolute certainty whether or not this man is friend of foe, but I think in these times we need more friends and less foes. Wouldn’t you agree?
EVERETT YOUNG
I don’t think we need to worry about that, at lest not for a while.
The two stare at each other.
EVERETT YOUNG (CONT’D)
Your move.
Rush looks at his watch and stands up.
NICHOLAS RUSH
As lovely as this has been Colonel, I really have to get back to work. Besides I’ve beaten you in....
He looks down at the board for a second.
NICHOLAS RUSH
Eighteen moves.
Rush walks past Everett, we hear the sound of the door opening as he leaves. Everett sighs.
EVERETT YOUNG
Damn he’s a lot of work.
