Daniel, Sam and Teal'c are standing in the gateroom when Daniel asks if they know what day it is, Teal'c tells him that it's thursday. With a sad smile on his lips Daniel says that it's been three years, exactly three years since the goa'uld system lords invaded earth and the tau'ri were forced to flee to this place. Seven months ago when the semi-civilian free people's council came to power they wanted to get back out there so they created the ASC, Alpha Site Command, the SGC of hammond colony. The gate activates and Carter says: let's go meet the neighbors.

Sg-1 consisting of Sam, Daniel and Teal'c is walking down a corridor in a very alien complex when a man approaches. He intruduces himself as Jonas Quinn, a special advisor to the high minister. Sg-1 and Jonas exchanges pleasantries and after they're done Jonas asks them to follow him and sg-1 agrees.
Jonas and sg-1 enters a lab where jonas shows them the naquadriah bomb prototype and carter asks why they are building the bomb. Jonas tells them that they need the bomb for defense against the tirania and the andari federation. After jonas and carter has talked about the potential of the naquadriah carter tells the team that they must get back to the asc and inform colonel o'neill.
Colonel Jack O'Neill, Doctor Rose Hunter, Martouf and SG-1 are sitting in the asc briefing room which looks a lot like the sgc briefing room. Martouf is talking about the benefits of the naquadriah if it could be used in the prometheus project. After Martouf is done Dr. Hunter tells them that the free people's council will probably approve of trading jet propulsion technology for naquadriah because we are desperate enough. Daniel asks her if it's really that wise to give the kelownans that kind of technology because it could drasticly change the balance of power on the planet. Doctor Hunter says that she's aware of that but ultimatly the decision is not hers.
Martouf and Sam are walking down a corridor in the asc and Sam is asking how it's going with the prometheus project. Martouf replies that work is going much faster now when the tok'ra high council has agreed to send more scientists, he also tells her that it's frustrating to work with a man like doctor McKay and it has been especialy hard for Anise. Carter replies by saying that he's lucky because he wont have to deal with McKay's constant flirting. Martouf agrees and tells Sam that it has been great seing her again and he kisses her on the cheek.
Sg-1 and Dr. Hunter in meeting with the kelownan high minister, Jonas Quinn, and a kelownan military representative. Dr Hunter tells the kelownans that the free people's confederation is willing to trade jet propulsion technology for naquadriah. The kelownan high minister and Dr. Hunter signs the trade agreement and sg-1 gives the kelownans the plans for jet technology in exchange for some naquadriah. Suddenly several loud explosions is heard in the city, a kelownan soldier approaches the high minister and whispers something in his ear. The high minister informs sg-1 that the andari federation and the tiranians are attacking mkey positions in the city, he also tells them that a kelownan soldier and jonas quinn will escort sg-1 and doctor hunter to the stargate which is located two levels down.
Sg-1, Hunter, Jonas and the soldier is running down the stairs when a bomb hits the building and a large piece of concrete hits the soldier and kills him instantly, the concrete also blocks Jonases only way out.
Sg-1, Hunter and Jonas enters the gate room and Daniel asks Jonas to come with them, Jonas tells him that he can't just abandon his people. Teal'c reminds him that the exit is blocked and the stargate is his only way out, so after a little persuasion Jonas finaly agrees to come with them.
Jonas is sitting in his quarters when carter enters with a troubled look on her face. Jonas asks her what's happend, she tells him that the tok'ra dispatched a cargo ship to his homeworld and they reported that it looks like the tiranians and the andari had developed their own weapons of mass-destruction. Jonas tells her to get to the point, she hesitates for a moment but she tells him that all capital cities had been destroyed and at least eight milion people had died. She tries comfort him but he tells her to leave, after sam has left the camera zooms in on his face and you can see one single tear on his cheek.

I like how you introduced the whole idea of Earth being taken over by the system lords, you came up with a very good way (Daniel saying how long its been since then) to introduce that.
I also feel honored that you used my "Included in the opening credits are" thing.
