Oh sweet, another fic about Tok'ra prior to the show's timeframe! (I refer to these as Tok'ra historical fic.) I'm planning one myself, about the life and times of Sabar, my primary Tok'ra OC from All That We Leave Behind, and his various interactions with canon Tok'ra, set prior to ATWLB. Look for it later this year, or early next year. Got to finish ATWLB first, and then there will be a sequel/prequel package of stories.

Has anyone read it? It's pretty long and doesn't say complete yet, so I don't want to start reading if it's not worth it. Which I suspect it isn't. It has 8 chapters and 0 reviews on Symbiotica, and 1 on fanfiction.net. That's NOT a good sign!

Give it a try. Roeskva is a very good writer, and while the fic has eight chapters and only one review on FF.net, she only began posting it a week ago. Sometimes fic on FF.net doesn't get a lot of reviews right away, especially Tok'ra-centric fic. As for Symbiotica, people don't tend to leave a lot of reviews over there in general. I have 33 chapters of All That We Leave Behind sitting at Symbiotica, and it's only gotten 11 reviews on that site.

But Roeskva's stuff is always worth reading, in my opinion.

Very true - Tok'ra fic are not very popular, so few will have even clicked the link to the fic. And Symbiotica...people there don't usually review. That a fic has gotten 11 reviews is impressive for that site!
The site only has Tok'ra related fic, and you need to get an account and login to be able to review (because they have apparently gotten a fairly large amount of nasty comment from Tok'ra-haters), so it's not surprising there are few reviews there.

And I second that Roeskva is a good writer. Try the fic! I am currently reading it, and I think it is interesting. I like background fics!
