In my Stargate folder, I have a big stories folder. It's full of author folders. Each author's folder is full of that author's stories.

Kinda like, "As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives..."

oh i wish i was that organized. The most i've been able to do is sort them 'sam stories' 'angst stories' 'teal'c stories' etc.

part of me would love to go through and organize them, but it'd take months to go through all i have. 10 years of saved fic

I'm not that organized in all aspects of my life, but when it comes to computer files, I am. I hate not being able to find things when I want them, so I try to be really linear about it.

Something an engineer I once worked with inspired me to do...

2010 was Skiffy's episode Friday afternoon. I hadn't watched it in some time, and was taken back again at the obvious bitterness between Sam and Jack and Jack and Joe. It made me wonder if anyone had ever read any good fic about those interactions. Of course, it never really happened (thank goodness!), but it was so intense! I can't remember ever reading what led to Sam and Jack falling out over the Aschen...and how Sam ended up marrying Joe. Although it would probably make me miserable, I'd be interested in knowing if any fanfic writer ever attempted to fill in those blanks for us.

Does anyone have anything to rec?

There's also Rachel500's episode tag/prequel in the Aftershocks series. She did a three parter to deal with the lead up to 2010: Part I, Part II, Part III.
