Okay, I had an idea: continuing SG-1! In the "Theoretical Season 11" Thread, I created a full Season 11, but it ended the Ori story arc and led into "Ark of Truth". I'm going to use that Season 11 I made to create an extended Stargate, with more seasons, new enemies, and all new adventures.
NOTES:
- The writing and length increases with time as I get better at this, so please be patient at the start, especially with Season 11, which was written very quickly and never intended to be the start of this project.
- As Samantha Carter remains head of SG-1 for some time in this continuation, it is assumed that she never becomes full time commander of Atlantis. She serves as the city's head for a brief period of transition before Richard Woolsey is brought in during Season 4 (a year earlier than he normally would have).
- The Lantean invention known as "the wormhole drive" does not exist up to Season 2 of Universe. Period. Ever. It was never seen onscreen, and in "Enemy at the Gate," Atlantis traveled from Pegasus to the Milky Way in a matter of days, arriving just a few hours after the Wraith hive ship.
- The Asgard plasma weapons given to Earth in "Unending" have been significantly tuned down in this continuation. They are still extremely powerful, but not as much so as they have been seen to be in Atlantis and the original SG-1.
