OMG, where've you kids been. Firstly, I don't believe any of you, if you claim to have consumed a lot of alcohol and not gotten drunk. Even the hardiest of human physiology, will succumb to the affects of alcohol in their blood after a given time, usually about 2 hours heavy drinking. You must have all been knocking back lites!
From an old warhorse (check my profile), don't lie to the Chief of the Deck, he can see (and smell) straight through you. Now all of you, fess up...I certainly will.
Hong Kong, 1969, as an 18 y.o sailor, in a sleezy bar, 5 older sailors decide it would be fun to see how much the 18 y.o could consume. Everything from beer, to Schnaps and all in between. Hell, I was, drunk, sick and angry for a month. And the rest of my resume' don't look that good either after 35 years in the service of Her Majesty.
