So, It seems the MW will never be at peace. After our heroes defeat the most powerful enemies , a new one is just around the corner and the story repeats again. I imagine that's the path for Tauri to follow to become the fifth race and completelly fullfill the asgard legacy.
Not entirely; the Der'kal have obviously been planning this invasion for a very, very long time (as evidenced by their scouting party seen in a flashback in "The Oracle"). They've been watching and waiting for the galaxy to be at its weakest, so in a way, you could say that all the other enemies Earth has faced were pawns themselves, paving the road for their inevitable invasion.

I think the Jaffa nation at large are showing their true color. I've never thought Jaffa Nation could be a reliable ally ,after all they've inherited the lust for power from their former masters and beleive tauri's influence undermines their way of living.
The Jaffa are split, don't forget, and always have been. Ever since the Nation was created, the Progressives and Traditionalists have been at odds, one side being liberal and the other conservative. In the wake of the Ori, the Traditionalists have just become more radical than anything else, but they're only a political party, that doesn't mean that most Jaffa feel as they do.

And you're definately right about one thing; most Jaffa see the Tau'ri as an undermining factor, and I think rightly so. We insert ourselves in every aspect of galactic life whether we're wanted or not, so I think it's easy to see how they could be getting fed up with it after all this time. The Jaffa are greatful for our assistance, but there's only so long you can stand having someone stay in your house, you know?

My question here is: are the Jaffa our next enemy after Teal'c and Brata'c are gone? and once the Derk'al be defeated. I believe after this war SG will enter a new Era.
I highly doubt I'll still be writing these by the time Teal'c dies, so I don't think the Jaffa will ever fully become our enemy. They may drift apart and back again over the years, but our destinies are somewhat linked now. Think of it this way: if Earth were to fall to the Der'kal, the Jaffa would surely be next on the chopping block, and without the vast fleets of the Jaffa, the Alliance would be crippled.

13x08 "Behind Enemy Lines" (Part 1 of 2)
Synopsis: When it is revealed that Hebridan may not be completely destroyed, Vala Mal Doran accepts a daring reconnaissance mission deep into enemy territory.
        Spoiler:
Various technicians are working in the control room, going over dozens of different tasks associated with keeping the stargate working. As they buzz in and out of the area, Vala Mal Doran enters, eating an apple. She perches on a computer console and watches as a few gate technicians perform spot repairs on one of the capaciters the gate uses on a day-to-day basis.

After a moment, Dr. Talbot comes down from the briefing room, reading a file folder. She absent-mindedly walks past Vala, asking one of the officers in the room to bring the latest Tok'ra intelligence on Der'kal fleet movements up, at the same time plucking the apple out of Vala's hands and tossing it in the waste basket.

At once, Vala leans over and demands to know why her fruit was "so rudely confiscated." Talbot (still rather absent) replies that she is enforcing a strict no-food policy around the gate equiptment... which Vala finds rediculous considering Daniel routinely walks in with coffee in hand. One of the nearby technicians perks up then, pointing out that coffee is a beverage, not a food, but Vala shushes him and, deciding to give up, asks Talbot what she's reading.

The diplomat passes over the file folder, turning her attention to the primary monitor in the room, which is now showing the positions of Der'kal and Alliance ships on the far edge of the galaxy. As it stands, thirty-nine planets (some uninhabited or mere mining facilities) have been conquered by the alien invaders, with battles raging above two more against Jaffa and Nox forces. Luckily, Der'kal cruisers on the whole seem to be roughly equal in power to Nox ones, so the Allied fleets are doing well at the moment. However, with the sheer number of new enemy ships arriving every few days, no one doubts that it won't be long before they're outnumbered 3 or 4-1 in every battle.

As Talbot and a few of the soldiers discuss this, Vala frowns and holds up the file. She says there must be a mistake, as this paper claims that they recieved a transmission in Serrakin three hours ago, not from Heliopolis (where the few Hebridanian refugees are being housed), but from Hebridan itself. Talbot, taking the folder back, says that this is why she was so distressed; this means that there's a chance the Der'kal did not completely exterminate all life on Hebridan, and there could be survivors. Unforunately, the UN is reluctant to risk sending a ship that far into enemy territory for a long-shot at best...

Amazingly, Vala suddenly closes her eyes for a moment, and when they open again, she asks if she can have permission to leave the base. Although confused, Talbot says that of course she can, and Vala at once asks the nearest gate technician to dial up a planet Qetesh once ruled (the one from "The Powers That Be"). When she is at last asked what she's doing, the smuggler turns and smiles, saying that she's going to go do the one job Earth apparently can't.

Some time later, Vala can be seen walking past the village she once ruled over (the people here, now liberated from Origin, welcome her freely as an ally). She's wearing the smuggler/rogue outfit worn in "The Ties That Bind," and carrying a large knapsack and zat gun. After a moment, she sighs and turns, seeing Daniel Jackson (in full offworld gear) running towards her, the stargate deactivating in the distance. When he finally gets within earshot, she asks what he wants, and he claims that he wasn't about to let her charge off on a suicide mission without someone at the very least looking out for her.

Vala insists that she can take care of herself; she did for years before she joined Earth, after all. But Jackson grabs her by the shoulders, as if preparing to yell at her... then pauses. He pulls back, pauses again, then asks if he may accompany her, as a friend and teammate. Besides, as he points out, he can speak Serrakin. Shaking her head, Vala finally relents and says he can come, but adds that Dr. Talbot will be quite displeased if two of her people die on the same mission.

As they head out again, Daniel asks where, exactly, they're headed. A few seconds later, that is answered as the duo turns a corner to reveal what appears to be the entrance to a massive underground hanger. Vala, keying in the passcode on a nearby security panel, explains that this is where Qetesh stored her personal vessels when she reigned here. Until now, she had no way to access the ships due to the peoples' hostility, but now she should have no such problem (after all, the people of this world have no interest in spaceflight so long as they have the gate). After a tense moment while the door opens, Daniel and Vala step inside, and a group of overhead lights flash to life, illuminating Goa'uld tel'tak.

Once aboard, Vala gets their stuff stashed away (Daniel notes at the extreme opulence of this cargo ship, and his companion explains that it was Qetesh's personal "yacht" of sorts) and powers up the primary systems. Once she is fairly sure Jackson is (mostly) strapped in, she guns the engines and the tel'tak shoots out of the hanger, making a quick climb into orbit and making a hyperspace jump for a point that should be just out of sensor range of any ships orbiting Hebridan.

While they wait to arrive at their destination, Daniel rummages through some of the things Qetesh had stored on the cargo ship, eventually unearthing a Goa'uld hand device. Vala, curious that she missed it when she last checked this ship several years before, examines the tool, finds it useable, and shoves it in her knapsack. A moment later, Daniel finds something else; an extremely-ornate knife, clearly of Goa'uld design. But when he holds this up to Vala, she suddenl freezes, her eyes frowing cold.

In a flashback sequence, Qetesh can be seen standing over a woman on another one of her worlds. As the camera rotates, it becomes clear that the woman is pregnant, but Qetesh does not seem to care, using her hand device to torture the poor soul. She demands to know the name of a Tok'ra operative apparently working on the planet, but the woman adamantly insists that she has no idea what she is talking about, and claims to be a devout follower of her god. Another few minutes pass, and when the woman still refuses to admit any connection to a Tok'ra, Qetesh orders all the subjects in the hall to watch her. She pulls out the knife, slides a finger along its edge, then whips it, viciously, across the human woman's neck. As blood flies in all directions, the head slides off and thumps to the floor... but a terrible, maniacal smile is fixed on Vala's face, the human inside unable to change it.

Back in the present, Vala inhales sharply, putting a hand to her chest. She asks Daniel to put the knife back wherever he found it, turning away from her friend back to the forward window. Daniel, though concnered, goes to do as she asks... then thinks better of it and tucks the knife inside his bulletproof jacket, knowing it may come in handy later. After that, he joins Vala in the cockpit, not knowing quite what to say.

On Earth, Talbot is back in her office, staring blankly at a display screen showing the real-time loss of two Jaffa ha'tak in a conflict with the Der'kal. The planet being attacked was boxed in by eight alien battlecruisers, each one accompanied by at least two frigates, corvettes, or carrier ships. The Tok'ra are reporting that the Nox are mobilizing more ships to patrol the edges of the Jaffa Nation, but the area may simply be too large for effective cover.

There's a knock on the door, and Talboy tears her eyes away from the screen and tells her visitor, revealed to be Col. Samantha Carter, to enter. Sam, taking a seat nearby, asks what the latest word is from Daniel and Vala, but there's nothing to say just yet. After a pause, Carter comes out with what she really came for; she and Dr. Lee may have come up with a way to contain the Der'kal advance for the time being. When asked how she plans to do that, Carter explains. She proposes using what they've learned from the Asgard to create a portable time-dilation device capable of creating a time-field around all the territory they've captured so far. It probably wouldn't buy them more than a year (Carter is sure the aliens could shut it down once they got their hands on it), but at least it would give them some breathing room to come up with a more perminent solution. Talbot gives her an okay to proceed with testing of this plan, then goes back to watching the galactic invasion on her monitor.

(Last half of "Behind Enemy Lines." See previous post for first part.)
          Spoiler:
Meanwhile, Vala and Daniel's tel'tak is about to emerge from hyperspace. Just before they are ejected, Vala powers up the cloaking device, switching it on the second they revert to realspace. At once, Daniel begins scanning for nearby ships, but his eyes pick them up far faster; already, three Der'kal cruisers can be seen as the duo approaches Hebridan, and several smaller ships can be seen milling about, as well. Vala sucks in a breath, worried that they won't be able to sneak past such a host (the scans have revealed five more ships on the other side of the planet by now), but Jackson reminds her that they are cloaked.

As the tel'tak slips underneath one of the cruisers, they both hold their breath... but after a moment they pass it by and keep going. It appears as though the Der'kal cannot detect cloaked ships, which gives both of them hope for future such missions. Vala brings the ship down through the atmosphere toward an area that Jackson's scans indicate still has breathable air and greenery. But once they pierce the clouds, they find a clear problem; a massive blue-white shield is glimmering over the area (which appears to be several times the size of Manhattan) with no obvious way past it. Beneath the barrier, a slightly-blackened city is glowing in the night. Apparently, the Der'kal left some urban centers unscathed to house prisoners.

Watching the shield below, Daniel asks how they're going to get past it, but Vala doesn't really have any ideas, either. She suggests the possibility of scanning for a ring platform, but even if they found one, Jackson points out that it wouldn't be able to work through the field. They sit in silence for a moment, not knowing what to do, but then Vala glances around and asks if Daniel hears something... a few seconds later, the entire ship shakes as a Der'kal gunship whizzes by overhead, approaching the shield. At once, the SG-1 members move their tel'tak in behind it, watching intently. Then, suddenly, the section of shield directly in front of them flashes out, allowing the gunship (and the cloaked tel'tak) inside.

Daniel guesses the Der'kal controlling the shield generator must lower sections of it to let their ships inside while at the same time keeping the toxic atmosphere (from the orbital bombardment; most of Hebridan's surface is nothing more than slag) out of the population centers. As the two of them fly over the city, they see several thousand Hebridanians being moved about, with what appaears to be the Der'kal equivilant of tanks roaming the streets and their gunships gliding in the air above the skyscrapers. Vala estimates that, along with the other surviving cities, there must be about 100,000 prisoners here.

Bringing the ship down for a landing inside the wreckage of a TechCon facility, Vala asks where they go from here. Jackson, nodding toward TechCon's headquarters (the collection of buildings seen in "Space Race"), suggests they head there, as it seems to have the most enemy troops and ships clustered around it. If he's right, that's where the overseers of the occupation force and any high-profile prisoners are being held. Vala agrees and, grabbing her bag, follows him out of the cloaked ship.

At the ISGC, Carter and Dr. Lee think they've got a prototype time dilation device ready. They move it to an observation lab and call Dr. Talbot and Cameron Mitchell into the observation booth to watch. Lee explains that they've set the field to generate a dilation that will only slow time around him and Carter by 10%, showing an obvious lapse but not so much that it will take months for them to turn the device itself off. When Talbot gives the okay, Sam hits the power button... a flash illuminates the room, and then the lab is still. Dr. Lee's mouth moves very slowly, seeming to say something, and Carter's hand moves toward the OFF button, also very slowly. Finally, she hits it, and the room flashes once more as the flow of time is restored.

Talbot applauds their success and asks how long it will take to modify the device to work on a galactic scale. But Carter honestly has no idea; the only reason this was ready so fast was because they were just using an Asgard device they had on hand. They'll have to build a new device from scratch if her plan is going to succeed. Mitchell doesn't think it's really worthwhile, but admits that any plan is better than no plan, then he and Talbot leave so Doctors Lee and Carter can get back to work.

On Hebridan, Vala and Jackson are just sneaking inside the TechCon facility, using a side entrance that is obscured by a massive pile of rubble. Once within, the two make their way (carefully) to the elevators, where they find two Der'kal guards waiting. Daniel asks what Vala has with her to use, and she whispers back the contents of her bag; three packs of C-4, two Goa'uld stun grenades, three Earth grenades, the hand device he found, an Earth pistol, and a scanner. Jackson grabs the stun grenade, sets it off, and hurls it into the room. The alien soldiers react at once, attempting to shoot the device before it can go off, but Daniel timed his ambush well, and it flashes before they can get their weapons out.

Amazingly, though, they aren't knocked out. Instead, the two warriors are blinded and dazed, but still standing. Vala pulls out her zat and shoots each of them, but finds that their armor absorbs the attack (as Mitchell found in "Frontlines"). She calmly places her gun on each warrior's face and activates the zat, this time taking them down. She and Daniel quickly get into an elevator (pulling the aliens in with them) and hit the button for a few floors up.

When the doors open, they each walk out, zat in hand, and stun the guards waiting, then shove them in the elevator, as well. Daniel says that there should be a security console nearby; he remembers this level housing the facility's security center from when he was last here. They head down the nearest hallway, looking for the room, but freeze when they hear voices approaching. They manage to dash into a crevice just in time to avoid being seen by a passing group of Der'kal warriors, and the distinctive voice of one of them chills Daniel to the bone. Vur'naa the Der'kal commander who tortured Teal'c ("Inroads, Part 1") is here (Daniel knows from a description Teal'c gave of his appearance and personality), no doubt in charge of the occupation. Though Vala wants to continue on to the security center and find out some info about where any prisoners are being held, Daniel wants to follow the enemy commander, hoping to learn more. Vala relents and agrees.

The two of them follow Vur'naa and his guards to what once must have served as an open-door conference room for TechCon executives. There, they watch from the door as one of the lower Der'kal officers gives a status report on... the construction of shipyards in orbit. As Vala and Daniel listen in with horror, they learn that the Der'kal have been constructing massive orbital shipyards over every planet they've conquered in the galaxy, adding even more ships to their already-massive fleet. Vur'naa, pleased, remarks that they should be able to simply overrun the galactic community within a year at the current pace of things, and says that soon, very soon, they will turn their attention to the "infidels" once more.

Vala, not paying much attention to herself, accidently thumbs the activator on her zat, and it uncoils with a snap. Immediately, Vur'naa perks up, looking directly at their hiding spot, and barks for his men to go investigate. Daniel and Vala rush back a few meters ducking behind a steel outcropping in the wall and pull out their weapons, prepared to fight to the death if need be... all while the world outside continues to burn.

Glad to hear it Part two should be up sometime this weekend, Tuesday afternoon at absolute latest.

I'd also like to say that I have finished planning out the season, and I have some episode details to share:

              Spoiler:
              13x09 "TBA" (Part 2 of 2)
This will be the conclusion to "Behind Enemy Lines" and will prominently feature Daniel Jackson. It will give the first real insight into the Der'kal and their culture, and will also explore their plans for the Milky Way Galaxy. Also, this episode will feature Richard Dean Anderson reprising his role as General Jack O'Neill as the United Nations makes a pivotal decision regarding the Stargate Program.

              13x10 "Rogues, Part 1" (Part 1 of 2)
As posted before, this will be an episode primarily dealing with the building tension between Stargate Command and the United Nations. When the Jaffa are attacked and call for assistance, the UN locks down the ISGC in an attempt to prevent Earth from being further dragged into the war. But former adversaries may have a change of heart as SG-1 constructs a daring plan to get offworld. Guest appearances will include (but are not limited to) Richard Dean Anderson as General O'Neill and Christopher Judge as Teal'c.

              13x11 "Rogues, Part 2 (Part 2 of 2)
This episode will be the conclusion to "Rogues, Part 1," and will see a major shift in the balance of power in the gate universe, spurred almost entirely by SG-1's intervention in a Der'kal assault on a key Jaffa stronghold.

              ...

              13x19 "The Time Traveler"
When Jonas Quinn arrives at the ISGC, claiming to be from a post-apocalyptic future, SG-1 will be forced to reevaluate their actions thus far in the war... complicating things, of course, is an ongoing Langaran diplomatic visit headed up by none-other than Jonas himself!

              13x20 "Xenocide" (Part 1 of 2)
An episode for the morally-ambiguous ones, surely! After a year of research using captured Der'kal DNA, Area 51 believes it has successfully created a virus that can utterly annhiliate the alien invaders without firing a shot. But Dr. Talbot and the team refuse to simply exterminate another race that could still be "saved," so the Trust takes it upon itself to step up to the task. Guest appearances include William Devane as President Henry Hayes and ______ as General Secretary Angela Loewe of the United Nations..

Why not Col. Mitchell, nothing said that he wasn't promoted with Carter, right?

Cameron Mitchell has not yet earned the rank of Colonel; Sam Carter has saved the world a dozen times over, he has saved it... well, zero times. She also has more experience than him and has in higher positions (commander of Atlantis/Phoenix vs. co-commander of SG-1/Odyssey).

And no, he is still a Lt. Col. as far as I am aware.

I'd have to actually know what you plan on writing (via PM) before giving any answer. I've been planning arcs with 1-2+ season spans involved, and I'm not sure I want to shove in even more plot just yet.
