2007 ISIS Awards Looking for help

The ISIS Awards are for Stargate Fanfiction that is NOT S/J. All other pairings, multiple pairings, etc are permitted.

From the ISIS Administrators:

We're putting the awards up for adoption. So, if anyone out there--preferably someone who has been involved in past years and knows how things are run--would like to take over, please contact me, http://meg-tdj.livejournal.com/ , or http://azarsuerte.livejournal.com/327238.html or both. We'll review applications and see what kind of team set-up we can work out to make the transition as smooth as possible.

What we need is someone to do the following:
- organize volunteers (readers, vote counters, graphic artists, etc.)
- maintain the website
- handle questions and problems from participants or would-be participants
- basically just keep things running smoothly and on schedule--schedule to be determined by the new organizers, of course.

That sounds like an awful lot of work for one person. Perhaps ask for people to take on one or two jobs and get them together. For me to take on something like that, I'd have to give up all the other things I'm doing, including, possibly, working for a living.

Question would the ISIS award consider being the first awards that give things to Fan fiction Virtual Series? Because i havent heard of any of the others giving them out.

If the award's current handlers will let me be so bold: NO. The Isis Awards are all about non-canon hetero pairings in SG-1 and SGA. That means anything but Sam/Jack, or (last year) Sheppard/Weir.

Livi2Jack, I hope y'all find some good people to take over the process. It's nice to have something to unearth these gems that get lost among the volumes of primary ship fic.
