A friend & I ran a fundraiser to benefit Sanctuary for Kids (Amanda Tapping's charity) after the Chicago Stargate Convention this past weekend. Everybody told us they had a lot of fun & we just wanted to let everybody know we're running an online continuation of the fundraiser with some cool auction items & other fun things.
We've got an "I'm with Genius" shirt inspired by McKay's shirt in Atlantis, signed by David Hewlett, David Nykl, Jason Momoa, Joe Flanigan & Paul McGillion; a "Napoleonic Powermonger" shirt inspired by Dr. Frasier in SG-1, signed by Teryl Rothery; a "Thanks Send More" Kleenex box shirt inspired by Daniel Jackson in SG-1, signed by Michael Shanks, and other fun items as well up for auction until August 27.
There's also a raffle for those who may not be able to afford auction items & a thank-you gift for everybody who donates $5 or more. Raffle items include "Property of SGC" water bottles, temporary tattoos, pens, t-shirts (unsigned), a Teal'c beanie, & more.
One of the things people enjoyed the most at the fundraiser was "Cards Against the Goa'uld," a parody of Cards Against Humanity we created, entirely Stargate themed. We're also offering a PDF version of this game to print/cut yourself as part of the fundraiser.
Details about all the auction items, raffles, Cards Against the Goa'uld & more can be found here.
If you were at the fundraiser in Chicago, THANK YOU! We're so glad you came & so thankful for all your support!
